Ok, this is no joke. Squarenix is releasing a new line of soft drinks named "Final Fantasy XII Potion"...

This was actually a suggested first from the beverage company Suntory. http://www.suntory.co.jp/
But I can't help but think this is incredibly dorky and cheesy idea.
But seeing the pictures makes me want one just to display it in my room.

This really is interesting. Why would they produce a drink that resembles a potion though? More revenue for the legacy? Ah well...I don't know enough kanji offhand to translate the caption, darn it...

Haha looks like all three of us want it for display. I guess that might have been their intention, its biggest selling point. I bet the drink costs lot more than regular drinks.

You'll be only seeing Potions and maybe Hi-Potions or Ultra Potions only. It'll be too dangerous to see the Phoenix Downs line.
This is a perfect expensive gift for hardcore FF gf's and bf's. And make sure it's boxed in a chest (FFXII demo, anyone?) when you give it to her/him. |

Bah, price doesn't matter to me, I've never believed in buying potions from shops. I'll just get into random encounters with FF Fans and after defeating a few pick some up.

really nice... I might buy some off it... 1 for drinks I wonder how is the taste would be... and 1 for keep as a momento... since this drink maybe only limited addition... anybody knows when it will be sell in japan or US?

I'd like them to see real full scaled replicas of the weapons(in any FF), along with the potions. 
Then I can go around hunting people with my Gunblade and drink potions everytime I get a wound.
That would be so awesome.

at least they cannot make phionex pinion...I can't imagine they can put a phionex in a bottle...or actually pheonix exist...if it does then I'm gonna buy it even if it cost me...
I would like to see they make a materia...a real materia... so we all can use magic...
