Byakugan vs Sharingan

You can't go half and half, that's cheating! : P
I'd say byakugan because the user can detect things the sharingan can't. Just because you can copy another ninjitsu doesn't do anything if you can't use it against the other.

You can't really verse them. They both have advantages and disadvantages. Though I think that the byakugan is more diverse and can be used for other things besides in battle. Though I think the creator of this confused because the byakugan doesn't give them the ability of absolute defence. Also only neji has the absolute defence. And also their field of view is less that 360 they have like a 1 or 2 degree blind spot in the back of their heads. Their ability to use the byakugan allows the clan to use the soft hand style, where instead of fists they finger tips and shut the chakra flow of a given person.

Sharingan has the advantage in battle, able to copy ninjitsu, see through genjutsu and remember Taijutsu even though as you said they can't always keep up if its at high speeds. Though the more dots in the eye the more advanced it is and attacks are seen as if in slow motion. The Mangekyou Sharingan uses genjutsu and has the ability to kill a normal person if they look into the Mangekyou Sharingan directly. Only a person with a Sharingan can look into the eyes of someone with a Mangekyou Sharingan though that doesn't mean that the genjustsu won't work. The hypnosis of the Mangekyou Sharingan can cause insanity of its victims. The only real draw back of the Mangekyou Sharingan is that it places great strain on the users eyes and makes their vision worsen, the more they use it.

Byakugan is the strongest, only because the users learn a combat style specificly for that. Over time, they can perfect it to stop even most of the unpleasant jutsu. Sharingan is strong, I will never doubt that, but you need to see a technique to learn it, sometimes seeing it once is all it takes to kill you. To be able to live after an attack is crucial but with a sharingan you have to have your opponent perform the move, with the byakugan, you see how their charka moves and can stop them quickly. If someone got lucky and survived many techniques, getting stronger and stronger with the sharingan, then and ONLY then is the sharingan stronger(i.e. Itachi and Sasuke). But in the larger scale, Byakugan has more users who can use the eye and the fighting style to its full potential

Sharingan only because of it's hypnotic powers. Byakugan doesn't really do you any good if you're under the influence of a genjutsu. Yeah, I know the whole closey eyelid thingy, but who the heck is gonna close their eyes mid-battle. And since the Byakugan can see through things, closing your eyes wouldn't do you much good would it?

Personally id rather have the byakukan. It is better for taijutsu and it can see better than sharingan. Also it seems like Neji can use his forever but if you use the sharingan too much it hurts you.

the owner of this eye could have Mangekyou Sharingan .
Only use this jutsu the owner can win the battle

I think Byakugan would win since the sharingan just copies everything. The Sharingan wouldnt be able to copy Byakugan though since its a kekei genkai adn the byakugan user could attack their opponent's chakra paths. but when u think about it, it comes right down to the skill of the fighters
