Byakugan vs Sharingan

sharingan requires the use of chakra in its genjutsu, the chakra is the main force while the eyes are the means by which to use it, (i.e. the force of genjutsu could be applied by a pointing finger for instance), but then i guess the byakugan has other abilities, like a curse seal that causes instant death if you loose control of your own mind (which is a bit of a bummer). um im rambling- ill give it action points(avoiding the combat techniques)>

Byakugan can win because:
-charkra sight allows for pre-emtive avoidance of genjutsu techniques
-chakra routes to the eyes could be closed off

Copywheeleye can win because:
-you cant spin chakra against a timespace attack
-you cold 'copy' up the most useful anti byakugan skills

ok so im saying at a low level its gonna be byakgan winning, but as time power and experience goes on, the copyeye catches up and then surpasses.

i think sharingan will win when against byakugan
when the owner of sharingan use the mangekyou sharingan the oponent cannot do anything anymore

I think sharingan.. As what I can see in Naruto sharingan is more powerful than Byakugan..

i think totally sharingan cuz byakugan ai'nt THAT much of a help in a fight as sharingan

if they were both to the highest level and byakugan is byakugan no matter how good. however with the sharingan, he can go into mangekyou and finish the oppenent with just staring at their eyes.

I would prefer the byakugan... as it is much more useful than the sharingan, unless it has been fully mastered... also, the sharingan wouldnt be of much use unless your body has the physical ability to use it... so basically, what is the point of being able to track down enemy movements, while you yourself cannot keep up with them (like when lee first challenged sasuke in the chuunin exams)

The winner would depend on the level of the two fighters. A low-mid level Byakugan would probably beat a low-mid level sharigan.
However, the Mangekyuu Sharigan would definitely beat the Byakugan and most other blood-limits due to the fact that it lets you react to taijutsu with the normal sharigan, perform possibly the highest-level genjutsu and perform highly advanced seals.
Also, the Byahugan users have a close-up fighting style, while Sharigan users can just look you in the eye and you mostly lose.
Lastly, is an idea that might work since you need to look into the eyes of the Mangekyuu Sharigan for the genjutsu to take effect and Byakugan lets you see all around and at a higher degree so you mostly can't avoid the Mangekyuu Sharigan. But, this is only a theory and may not work.
