At this point, I'd say practical figures would range about $400-$500, the least.

okay, now i think we have a better idea. the PS3 will be around 500$ and the games between 60$ to 70$.

but there is one more thing. PS3, X360, revolution, use High Definition (HD). and only TV with the option HD, can make you profit of all the graphic capacities. i know graphic is not the most important thing in a game. but when you have a game who has no graphic difference (or a little) between his XBOX version and X360 version, with a TV without HD....sniffff. so maybe budget will rise...for the one (like me) who don't have the famous TV HD.

Well XBOX360 cost around 600CAN$ "the premium one" so im guessing PS3 would be around 800CAN$+ when launch comes out.
PS3 surpases XBOX360 in everyway possible from the power/more pixels and suchs. The games .. omg.. im guessing 70-80CAN$
