DNA 2 ending explanation (warning spoilers ahead)

I just finished read dna two. What was the ending all about? Did she shoot him with a DCM that made him forget about everything that happened? Woot the freak happened? I'm somewhat confused by the complete 180 ending can someone clarify it for me plz?

I think she did, and then she went back to her own time. It goes against her character and is disappointing as hell, but then the whole last volume seems like someone tried to cram two volumes worth of plot into a single volume and failed...

It was exactly that. Karin shots him with that special DCM. Then, Junta forgets all and Karin returns back to her own tim. Remember that, finally, Karin succeed in her mission (it took her more than she expected ^^).

Anyways, if you disagree with the ending, there is a OAV, just for the anime, which leave things in a different way. Besides, I prefer the original ending than the OAV ending (meaning "ending" as the argument, not the music, of course^^).

The last five chapters?? Of the original version or the whole version? Well, I don't know none of them, but maybe you're looking for the D·N·A2 OAV...Not sure if this will help, but anyways^^

Not sure. As far as I know, the manga arrives until the 12th (or so) chapter, the same as the original TV version. That's the original D·N·A 2 story.

Then, there is the three chapters OAV. Add them to the previous (and original) D·N·A 2 anime and you'll have the whole story. So, you said you're looking for the five final chapters. That can be interpreted as:

1) You are looking for the five final chapters of the original version (8,9,10,11 and 12).
2) You are looking for the five final chapters of the whole version (11,12,13,14 and 15).

Anyways, you can just say what's the latest you have seen. Then, we'll know which chapters are you looking for.
