Well, when you work it out, new episodes air usually once a week. Even if fansub groups were to keep up with a show as it airs (Which they can't be expected to do since subbing is a lot of work) that still makes it possible to watch 5 episodes of anime a day and keep up. Figure each episode is 24 minutes, and that's only 2 hours a day or less if you skip the OP and ED.

Yes but that doesn't factor in downloading time which may push it to twice that

Ah! But that's why you download while you sleep, or while you watch other anime, or play World of Warcraft, or play video games, or while at work, etc. I pay for this cable internet, I'm darn well gonna make full use of it! =P It's probably only one night out of a week when I go to sleep with my computer actually turned off because I'm not downloading something.

Wow.... this isn't really making me sound good, is it? Sad

Only_Anime> Just as a warning, .hack//Roots leads directly into the .hack//G.U. storyline, so if you're not going to play the games, you won't get any closure from the anime. On the other hand, if you are planning on playing .hack//G.U. then the anime will probably be very worth it to watch, because you'll be a lot more attached to and/or familiar with the characters in the game.

Thanks for the warning but I've already beaten Vol 1 of G.U.

Oh! If that's the case, you'll have to let me know what you think of .hack//Roots then, if it's a lot more interesting to watch having played the game (the first volume at least).

Whaaaat? Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha is a great series! It's probably one of the only shows to actually do justice to the whole "Magical Girl" concept. Usually the main characters of those shows are some brainless ditz who's overly pre-occupied with boys, and has to fight random ludicrous monsters for no particular reason. Nanoha actually has a good storyline, and character growth. Actual character growth! That's a rare find in any anime.

Yeah, Nanoha is a great series with huge fanbase following. Unlike typical magical girl series, watching the battle segment is not a chore in Nanoha.
Nanoha is not really a magical girl genre in traditional sense that its target audiences are not young girls, but older teens to adult males. Which is understandable considering that Nanoha is a spin-off series based off on H-Game/OVA series Triangle Hearts.
Hehe I actually have a Nanoha figure on my book shelf Embarassed
