Advent Rising

I rented this game about two days ago, and beat it one day ago. But hell this game was awesome, I loved the dualwield possibilities, the story line, and the bad ass powers you could get. I just wished they had more vehicles, I don't think they really explored the part about you being a pilot, and you really only got to fly one space ship. The story was great, but short, I hope they do a sequel.

How bout you guys anyone played it? And what do you think.

never played it and i dont plan too because i heard it wasnt that good of a game at all but supposedly it's supposed to be a trilogy but from the lack of success of the first one there might not even be a sequal let alone 2

There is rumored to be no more sequels in the form of video games, rather there will be sequels to this game in the format of a board game (wasn't specified, probably something along the lines of Warhammer). This game turned out exactly like Psychonauts, in the sense that they both didn't do well, but both were something new; something fresh. The game lagged a bit at times, but that's acceptable, and the combat system was good. I just thought that the begining of the game moved a little too slowly to my liking. Th graphics seemed a bit outdated as well. Seeing as Halo 2 was comming out nearby the release of Advent Rising, Advent Rising wasn't looking that great. I still liked the game, and it was pretty fun, I guess we'll be looking back a couple years later and compare this game to ICO, in the sense that they were both of a high lvl gaming experience, but overlooked.
