Ginji amano and ban mido from getbackers there aren't boring at all. they have hidden past and stuff and new characters with similar past come in all the time.

I like the characters from mangas by Adachi Mitsuru. They all have a certain level of dignification. Characters from lots of other mangas are bossed around by the tomboy women, which i find very annoying, it was funny at first, but now its just... not. Even when the characters are caught doing things of low level perversion they get away with a i didnt see anything, that shows a certain level respect for them. Almost all his manga are about sports and it has some nice athletic developement but it seems that its mostly focused on the growth of the characters. Out of his manga i like "Keisuke Yamato" from "Rough" the most, he is good at the sport thats chosen in that novel, he isnt bossed around, and he is veiwed as a very good person.

OooOoOoo...This is a supremely hard question...and I would probably be hard pressed to answer truthfully...because I wouldn't know myself...

However, I must say that it is indeed Urashima Keitaro of Love Hina fame...

The reason...?

Because Love Hina is the reason I am now into manga and anime.
Once I was lost, but Love Hina brought me out of the dark into the light that is otaku-dom...

I therefore I am eternally loyal to Love Hina and Keitaro is the most well developed character in that manga (though Motoko and Narusegawa rival him)

The most interesting has to Shirou from Fate Stay Night. How can anyone be as sacrificial as him? He's not a push-over but a kind(too kind) people by heart.
