Anime/character lost and found?

I've been a member of this site for a while, but haven't been active in the forums, just looking at manga and reviews. Still, I have to say that I'm impressed with the amount of that. The reviews in fact, are overwhelming in how many different anime there are. o_o; Especially trying to look through them all for say, a specific character that may or may not be in any of them. I also say this because it seems like there aren't too many pictures for each one, usually. But what if you're trying to match character and anime together? C'mon, I'm sure everyone has at least once seen a picture from an anime they didn't know but were interested, and want to see it. With nothing to go on but that character's appearance, it may be rather hard. Having a name doesn't help much either.

What I suggest is that we have some sticky post somewhere as a lost and found for everybody. People can post a picture, description, traits, name, or whatever they know about who they're looking for. With all the people around, someone is bound to know where it's from, and they'll answer. Alternatively people looking for a picture or screenshot, from a certain anime can get those from random generous souls too. It can be a big, friendly trading of pictures and knowledge, and all that good stuff. I've been browsing around the forums and haven't seen anything that looks like that. And of course, it'd work for games and manga too. ._.
