Project Speeds(esp Ichigo 100%)-Way Way too Slow!(proposal)

sorry - my work sometimes messes up my connection. That was me. I was undecided between Ichigo and Pastel, and since Ichigo is roaring along at warp 2 now, Pastel gets the attention.

well, why do you guys say you would rather work on ichigo than pastel, since pastel is supposedly seemingly shorter than ichigo? ichigo is currently 12-14 volumes, and still going, thus if you would want to finish scanlating ichigo then go on to work on pastel, it will take years, considering the speed. I'm not saying the speed is slow, but look, even with the current speed, if you just work on ichigo first, you still take till next year to complete...

since AW and AT is so particular about quality scanlations...

Three groups are working on Ichigo, and while my initial choice would be Ichigo, once a week or so is plenty fast.

Pastel (and Pretty Face) are being done much slower. I like Pastel almost as much as I like Ichigo, so I have no problem with moving to it as there are always projects that need extra help. Plus, Pastel is actually a nice series to own.

we arent stopping on Pastel, like i said before, both series are still going...there is no need to do another crazy....btw, are u in a group or anything?

ermm.. i think i wasn't talking about AW or AT.. someone.. ermm TheGenesis said he could do without pastel... but... doing without pastel means that the period is going to be very long... if scanlating groups decide to forgo pastel for ichigo...

I could help with Pastel cuz I've been buying a few volumes. Where I live (I'm not exactly sure) but I think there are about 6-8 volumes out so far. I'm not THAT sure...I haven't been to that store for a long time, but I bought volume 4 and I remember there were a few more volumes. I can translate...but I don't think I can do scans.

Or just help me in a few weeks. I actually worked for a while in a real honest to goodness printshop, as well as on my high school yearbook and various other projects before getting into making web pages(then I went into other things about 4-5 years ago).

I'm actually pretty good at the scanning and editing and so on. translation? Not so much. Heh. I'll contact you via PM when I get my next paycheck(10 days or so).

But, yes, it's about 30-40 chapters ahead of where the scanlation group is and growing.

No, Pastel. Ichigo has three groups and a superb colorist right now, but Pastel is sort of the orphan child. I was 60%/40% split on which one to do, but my second choice is good, since I really like them both Smile
