My Hime/Mai-HiME

Those still looking for Mai-HiME might want to do it quickly, too. Bandai annoucned at AnimeExpo in Anaheim this weekend that they have acquired the Mai-HiME licence, so there's a very good chance the subs will be taken down soon. Be sure to buy the DVDs when they come out though. I"m already budgeting for them ^^

At first, I wasn't too sure of this show. But as I watched more, it just started to strike the right blend of action, comedy, drama, and "x" factor that I started to love it. By the time the first major arc happened (Alyssa), I was hooked. I think what made me love the show so much was that I truly cared for the characters. That made the end brutally hard to watch, but I loved every minute. Definitely ranks as my third favorite anime of all time, behind Bleach and FMA.

I've got a question about a song from the show...

When the HiME's are all reborn, and are flying towards the HiME star, what's the name of the song that's playing? It's really cool, but I have no idea what it is, and I'm not sure if it's on either of the OST's I have.

Hey!! I saw it 4 times already, I really love this anime (Shizuru-sama, Natsuki and Midori-chan are my favorite characters).

And I read manga too but I like the anime much more.But still love Shizuru-sama anyway na.

yeah i have seen it acouple of times...really good. i dont really like the manga cause its soo complicted that i am soo lost so i just stopped reading it hehe.. i actually like how it startes in the manga

ok i'm really slow but i've just finished watching mai-hime and it is sooooooo excellent!!!! although the ending was kinda a letdown though.. why did the child have to disappear?!??

and so i'm busy reading the manga on anime-source...but i still think the anime is cooleR! yay!

I say this coz i saw some pictures titled My-Hime on this japanese site but it had different charecters, and i would of investigated more but i can't read japanese.

Are you serious about a new season of mai-hime. If it is the case, i think i'm gonna look for it since the first one was kind of awesome. But it kind of had a lot of tension before the end and i didn't like that part though... anyway it was a great anime if you look at it as a whole.

Does anyone remember which episode this scene is from:

After Mikoto defeats Akira's (?) Child, Takumi disappears since he is Akira's most beloved person. After he disappears, Mai gets sooo mad at Mikoto that her clinched teeth begin spouting blood.
This is THE most incredible dramatic scene in anime history. I want to show this scene to my non-otaku gf so she knows how awesome this series is and how cool anime can be, but I'm too lazy to go looking for it. If you know off the top of your head which episode (or at least a range), that would help me out.

I want to rewatch the whole thing anyway, but I don't have time, so I'll have to wait until I buy it on DVD to rewatch it. Support this series, it's the best!!!
