REC Reviews and Info.

Animenfo:

Matsumaru was stood up by a girl whom he had asked to go out with him. When he was trying to throw away the movie tickets, a girl blamed him for wasting the tickets. So, he gave her a ticket, and he went to the movie alone. However, at the theater, he found that girl reading the subtitles aloud.
This is the love story about a common man and a girl who has a dream to be a voice actress. Her apartment was in a fire, and they began to live in the same room together. Meanwhile, she was adopted as the voice actress in the TV commercial of Shomaru’s company’s product.

I didn't see an existing topic for REC, so I made this one! I thought that it was funny, and cute, well as cute as it could be for not being geared for children. Also, the ending surprised me....you don't see that sort of ending on the first episode of a series quite often. I think I'll keep track of REC, although it does have the potential to get very boring.

True, the ending caught me by surprise. But what really catches my attention about REC is that the main characters are not teenagers. It's a good change for once.

By the way, each episode is only 12 minutes long.

hey can anyone help me with a little problem of mine.. where to i go to be able to get a codec or program so that i may be able to open mkv files... cause REC is in mkv format and my computer cannot seem to open it or even understand what it is.. heck it even opens up my photoshop when i try opening the file... what is up with that.. any help or tip is appreciated...

hah!! i have finally managed to watch mkv files and ogm files.. dangit took so long.. the episode is short.. waaay short... but looks ok... nothing bad about it... so far... might check out the second episode...

Yay a series about seiyuu! I'm very interested... though their relationship was kind of too straight forward for an anime.

seems pretty interesting to me! im following the Lunar subbing for this, and hopefully this will be a good series. i just wish that it was a bit longer than 12 mins... i mean, this anime could really go places Razz

nice to see something different from the general trend of animes... most of the animes i have been watching lately involve school stuff and teens.. at least with this i can be refreshed from all those youngins...

Quite shocked to see the very fast development that the main characters developed in the first episode. I am really looking forward to this incredibly short series to be released soon ^^

If by development, you mean the relationship between Aka and Fumihiko, I believe they just got caught up in the moment more than anything. For a ten minute anime, this is quite nice to watch, though. I finished the second episode and as short as these episodes are, they sure do know how to entertain. I like the whole seiyuu thing going on here. Unfortunately, it just seems like it will be too short for its own good.

Oh, and I thought you guys might get a kick out of my signature. =P
