Regarding episode 3 at last honesty with It's a lie that Tokyo girls are easy
A reality check rarely seen in anime. Also in another episode the number
of wanta-be voice actresses graduating in japan This anime is very
enjoyable and it's too bad each episode is so short. |

The difference between the Ayu and A-United releases are in picture size and quality. Ayu definitely has AU beat there (I haven't tried the Lunar releases yet, but they've gone .mkv and I'm not too fond of that format).
Example of picture difference regarding episode 4:

Ayu Release

Anime United Release
I really don't know why AU decided to cut off the left and right sides of the anime. Also, AU's release seems to have slightly louder volume. I choose Ayu over AU simple because of picture quality, but I'll d/l the speedsubs to alleve my addiction... |

The difference might depend on the raw they used.
The wide screen one might have been a wide screen raw, and the other one might have been a full screen one. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img] |

Either way, the releases are different, and I'll take the widescreen format any day of the week.
As for Episode 5:
I found it quite funny watching Aka struggle with her H-game performances. I seem to forget that H-games are actually quite popular over there and where there's an abundance of supply, so goes the demand for seiyuus to voice those characters.
12 minutes of anime have never been so relaxing and pleasing to watch. REC is turning into one of those sleeper hits. I wonder if this anime does get licensed, whether or not they'll just stuff it all on one DVD rather than spread it out. 108 minutes (which will be the series length; openings included) is not very long at all. Given the lack of source material (only 192 pages), you can't really blame the series for being so short. Anyways, I'm always digging all the Audrey Hepburn quotes and references. Great anime that should be looked upon by everyone. Cmon, it's only 12 minutes an episode. =) |

Full screen ones can be useful to some people.
For example, if I wanted the anime on my iPod, I'd get the full screen one. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img] |

Some people != Fresh No Concept
I use the widescreen format on my iPod as well. I've been used to black bars on my screen since DVD's came out. It comes natural to me. Wait, why am I still arguing over this pointless thing?!? Still standing by my previous post.
Widescreen > Fullscreen |

At first i thought that this anime would be some kind of Loli pedo series, because of her voice at the very begining... then i learned that she wasnt 8 years old, but infact 20... Shes small _________________

This anime rocks! I really like this girl, i find here cute while doing her voice acting. The opening song is stuck in my head coz it really cute hehe
Even though this episodes are very short, I gets through the main plot and each event shows enough for that episode which really breaks away from traditional anime. |

| REC 7 has been PULLED by Anime-United. Just as with the screw ups of episode 4, the same staff (it's rather obvious. >_>) messed up this time. |

I watched REC 7 by Anime-United, and the subbing is atrocious. Seriously, do we really need an explanatory note to tell us that he's saying "Ha!" the snack rather than laughing? Or the HUGE note:
"Err, it said "Mixed bathing from 10 o'clock". (I don't know what else to choose. Basically, from 10 o'clock onwards, both men and women can use the baths. This system was created not so that men can spy on women and jack off, but for families that want to go in together.)
Ugh. Talk about unprofessional. Hurry up Lunar-Anime. _________________
