I was just wondering if it would be possible to add a page jumper to the forums. As of now you have to go through every page to get to a certain number. Would it be too awkward to add something that would allow you to jump to any page on the topic? _________________ Miku Miku!!

do you mean page jumper by clicking on a number to go to a different page of the thread? or do you mean jumping between threads and pages?
if its about the first one, if the thread is longer than one page, there will be a link displayed go to:123...678 under the link for the thread, also when you open the thread on the first page then in the upper left corner or the lower right corner of the page there is the same go to:1...234 link for you to jump around the pages for the thread

I think she means the first one.
Let's say we have a thread with 100 pages and want to check page 60. However, the links only show the first and the last 3 pages so we would have to click the previous page button 38 times from page 98 to reach page 60. _________________ What's yours is mine, what's mine is still mine.

I think you got it wrong, idjota. What I understand from her is the concern for threads with lots of post counts. For example, the Longest Thread EVER.
Since there are lots of pages around, it will be displayed as "1,2,3,.......,1510, 1511, 1522" below the thread. What she is saying is whether we can have a function that can click on the page between 3 and 1510. For example, page 1000. If we want to go to that page, we have to go through every page from 3 to 1000 or 1510 backwards to 1000, which can be very irritating. That is why she asked for a possibility of having a function that can do that without going through every page. _________________ Innocent Tranquility

Thank you Jsy3k for clearing that up for me. That is exactly what I meant. It is irritating to go through every single page in threads that have numerous pages. But if you have talked with him about it can be done. Any chance of that actually happening or are there bigger things to worry about? _________________ Miku Miku!!
