i've seen the 2 movies with vampire hunter d, are they going to make a third movie? cuz this anime is really good especially in bloodlust where the drawings r amazing.

they have both been out for a while now, and i have never heard anything about there being a third one.... although it would be nice.

Nothing that I know of, but maybe a decade or so into the future, they might make another D movie.

I hear they're working hard to get translated VHD novels available here in North America, though.

The other one is the classic Vampire Hunter D, made back in the 80s. It's also supposed to be the first horror anime flick ever created, one that was solely aimed at adults.

If you're looking for something as beautifully animated and visually stimulating as Bloodlust, you're out of luck, but it's still very well done given the time it was made.

thanks bxtorrents are down right now but i can wait... ha.. seed!?!?! my ratio's usually run at like 1:18.. down right pisses me off sometimes becuase all the uploading somehow kills my dsl connection and i have to reset the router.. but in the end its always worth it..

i really like vampire hunter d, i didn´t see the first movie but i really like the second one.

Unfortunately the 1st movie cannot be compared to the 2nd one as it was made in the 1980's.

The 2nd movie is probably one of the best anime movies ever made. Slick animation, nice music and great plot. It rivals most of the mainstream movies such as Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell, etc.

Its definitely worth the watch or owning if you haven't see it already.

i liked the original it wasnt quite as good as Bloodlust, but for being so old, it held its ground, towards the end it felt kinda undeveloped but everything in the first half worked well. and in the end it was worth watching... now i have to watch blood lust again =)

I like the second movie than the first movie. The second is more thrilling and the drawing is more beautiful.
