I'm just wondering, how far can a manga make fun of another one without copyright infringement? Does the limit becomes less strict if the mangas are both by the same publisher? I've seen a lot of manga that poke fun of others that have already reached iconic status, and many more that are just pure rip-off from some other ones. How far does the copyright law actually allow them?

im no expert on this, in fact, i don't know much about this but it would be so cool if different mangaka's could make fun of other mangaka's using their mangas.

A lot of the 'making fun' is achieved through parody, which is protected under most laws as 'fair use.' It's different from country to country of course, but Japan's and American's are probably similar enough.
From my small legal understanding, parody is often allowed because it doesn't harm the creator. If you write and draw a comic called 'Monkey Ball Z' and it involves an ape from space grunting and glowing for several issues, it doesn't harm Akira Toriyama any because it's unlikely he'd create that, having something similar already. Basically, a person is unlikely to parody their own work.
This should not be confused with people being 'allowed' to use copyright material; Fair Use is a legal defense mostly. Basically, if someone had a problem with what you did, they could take you to court, and it's up to the judge to decide if your work falls under 'fair use.'
