How does a compliment affect you?

Tahts an interesting question. Well I would proably fell good because some one I dont even know is complimenting me or I would thanks and walk away because that would be kind of wierd

i'd feel good/be happy when i'm complimented Very Happy

then i'd gush and thank them then gush even more ^_______^

I usually change topic or laugh it off, i don't really like being complimented.... the feeling of wanting to get better will be gone...

As far as I remember ppl only compliment me when they want money so I usually just ignore it and asks them what they want

if there is nothing behind their compliment then i think what i had done that i get a compliment and if there is some purpose then well sometimes do sometimes not depends if my mood is good

anyway i don't like being complimented anyway

I feel very...out of place when someone compliments me xD...it's like, "Alright, what do I say now?" To reply with a compliment, well that just makes it look like you are scrounging up any something just so that you can look polite, but it will seem so fake (because you are, and it is). I'm just like...uh....thanks...but I think that makes it look like, "Oh, I KNOW I'm really good at this, yep, get that ALL the time."

I used to say, "Thank you," when someone told me they loved me DX...

Well when someone compliments me, unless it is something that I am aware of, I would question the person because I would want to know what quality that makes me worthy of that compliment since I would want to keep quality if it is useful

Back in the day, i would get shy or embarassed by a compliment.

but these days, i jsut reply in the most sarcastic up-myself-tone ' Yes, yes well, what can i say?' and follow through with a hair flick, so then it becomes a joke and they laugh back.

and depending wat sort of a favour, and wat sorta of tone they asked it in, i might help em out.

If someone compliments me, I will compliment them back. But it depends on what they said.

You know lately I have had some trouble taking compliments for some reason. I didnt used to, but now I do. I dont question if they are actually sincere or anything, but I don wonder if what they are saying is actually true. For example, I went back to my old high school to visit some of my old teachers, and every single one of them said I looked fantastic. Which was nice, but at the same time would they say that to any student who came back? Maybe. I assume that I am just thinking too much again.

i get so shy when someone's compliments me... i get all flustered and smile sheepishly ^^' (even when the person's complimenting me over the net, i get all shy and smile to the screen -.-') Then I sincerely compliment the person back Rolling Eyes

I get shy when a girl compliments me but when a boy compliment, I will get angry. But some compliments make me feel good...
