Hajime no Ippo - This series is very good. There's lots of character development. The boxing fights are well drawn.
Hungry Heart Wild Striker- Football is the best. Loved the story of different people playing for the same team.

Hmm thats..pretty hard to say I like Hajime no Ippo but I gotta say I Like prince of tennis more

i would say both prince of tennis and eyeshield 21 but u can only pick one grrrrr  so i had to go with eyeshield 21 cause sena isnt all that 'powerful' as ryoma but what what i hate about those is the overly exaggerated scenes like ppl bouncing around and tennis balls going 5000 miles an hour or ppl running an entire football field in under five seconds

I'm not that into sports manga/anime, but I do like Eyeshield 21 a bit. Mainly because football is one of my favorite sports.

ending is open but i thought it really has a good ending
though i hear it has 4 movies i havent seen any of them........."sigh"

Eyeshield 21 is I think one the a very good anime right now.
The interesting character and story is enough for people to watch it.
