As mentioned in the subject, my points aren't going up anymore. I've got 39 points, and posting on the forum no longer increases them. Is this supposed to happen to encourage users to add to the community by making other sorts of submissions? There's nothing like this mentioned in the FAQ.

For the Mods: I read a couple dozen pages of threads about the point system and didn't see anything like this. I also tried a few searches, but "point" is a very common word on this forum. If this is a repeat thread, please just direct me to the right place.

Please refer to the main page. First news. Website FAQ was also updated two days ago to reflect this new policy.

Forum post don't give anymore points.

My apologies for not seeing that. I go straight to the forum and manga sections of this website without actually passing through the main page.

So out of curiosity, is this going to change how harshly people are prosecuted for spamming? I can see that it might lessen the punishments, but it also make sense to increase them, because now there is no longer any reason to spam at all.

As you probably also should of noticed from the front page news, manga levels have been reduced because of the reduced ways you can gain website points.

what member kyadytim his happening to him is also happening in my account for I have 14 points of a few day's ago I posted nice size piece which upon checking my account I did not gain a point is there something wrong with my account.

Ok Gohen, if you had paid a bit more attention when reviving this thread you would have noticed that posting in the forums doesn't give points anymore.

Now I don't know what you mean by a "nice size piece", so assuming that it was a review that you submitted there is a possibility that it was rejected. Check your personal messages to see what the reviews staff had to say about it. Needless to say, rejected reviews do not give points.

This is not the first time you revive a thread unnecessarily, so please pay more attention and read the thread next time.
