| Well it is hard to say since there are only 2 chapters. So in order to give a fair opinion about the title, it would have to wait a little more like around 5-6 chapters or so. |

| Yeah, you are probably right. Well, for me, usually I stick to the mangaka, so if there is anything done by that mangaka, I always go and read it. |

Well..I kind of don't like Rose Hip Rose that much... there was virtually no substance in the whole series. And if you're expecting fan-service--don't..it's blood, violence and explosion exclusively. I think Rose Hip Zero would be similar. I'm kinda wondering about the timeline though..Kasumi does seem to regress quite a lot comparing to her character in Rose Hip Rose (I take it the Zero suggests the time frame).
Fujisawa sensei's series have always been excelent at cars and weapons, and I think the action scenes are usually pretty good (for GTO and Onibaku serie, since the main emphasis is not on action) but is still not very good compare to a real action serie. I would like to see more Rose Hip Zero, mainly because it will continue (or finish) the Rose Hip saga. As a stand-alone reader, I don't think it's that great. I could use a bit more substance--but considering Rose Hip Zero seems to be a full serie rather than Rose Hip Rose which was more like a short story kinda thing, I'm having pretty high hopes about it. So far, the cast is already much bigger, (there like, what--3 named character in Rose Hip Rose? I take this to be a good sign.
Bring on the guns, bring on the roses!
**I really don't see why he has to make such a big deal of a .44 magnum.. I guess it is a rather tough gun to use by Japanese standard, seeing that they're of pretty small stature. I never have any problem blasting that thing 1-handed.. (not that I hit the target, but that's just me) |

"I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, I've kinda lost track myself. But being as this is a 44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya punk?" |

| i was sort of skeptical at first, kinda reminded me of a toned down Black Cat..with less characters and a duller storyline...but after reading the first two chapters..im already very interested in how this story progresses.....for some reason it reminds me a bit of Spiral..but with a detective-police style feel to it |

this manga's kinda iffy, more towards the serious side of things for the story.
plus the main guy's not goofy enough for it to relax the moods right now.
so far, not really liking this kind of overly serious terror/anti-terror sort of manga. This sort of gives me the feel of death note in a way the drawings are, just iffy...
black cat was way more relaxed and fun to read, this was pretty heavy to read... |

It doesn't really seem that heavy to me. The only thing I really have a problem with is that the main character differs only slightly from Onizuka. Same face, same general attitude, same general skills so far. I'm not saying that that's all bad, but it would be nice for the writer to expand out a little bit.
Also, the main character is using a desert eagle. A desert eagle is a .50 cal. The bullet is the same size as in the larger sniper rifles (but different style). That bad boy can break your wrists. _________________ Sweep the leg, Johnny! |

| GTO Onizuka with a gun... this is gonna get VERY interesting! lol. But this atmosphere also seems like it has supernatural stuff. Oh well, typing this after 7 hours of sleep is not fun... especially if its 11 pm right now and having to do a midterm exam tomorrow morning -.- |

Nah Onizuka doesn't need a gun. I mean haven't you read the manga he stops bullets with his bare flesh.
Anyway this manga looks pretty damn good (so far). I absolutely LOVED the GTO series. And seeing how cool these first two chapters are, it looks like Tohru Fujisawa may have another hit on his hands. But I don't think he'll ever be able to top GTO and it's prequels.
Although the whole assasination warnings by terrorists isn't exactly an original plot/theme/idea... it'll be interesting in seeing what Fujisawa does with it. _________________ MY AVI AND SIG ARE NOT READY YET!!! BUT DO NOT DESPAIR! I WILL TRY TO GET THEM READY SOON!

| Thank you sooo much for these scans ! I read articles about this manga but I couldn't find it ! It is actually better than what I thought, the plot seems more serious but still keeping this unique sense of humour ^^ The art is perfect and this shy girl dealing with this graet gun and then hinding behind the truck..it's just so cuuute and it's a clue for a Great manga coming ! |
