Based off a dating simulation game, this series main theme has twins as love targets.

Interestingly enough the same production company Starchild has lined up 2 shows based on the same game in the same year with the spoken title but done with 2 different animation studios.

Futakoi written in katakana ( フタコイ ) appears to have its story focusing on one pair of the several twins is done by ufotable zippers ・flag・feel. It also is a tentative title and not yet broadcast.

Futakoi in kanji ( 双恋 ) focuses on a boy and his story with these twins is done by Telecom Animation Film and has started its broadcast.

So for this series, we have Nozomu going to a town where there are a lots of twins and getting involved with them, either through past relationships or current buildups.

So far it all seems cutey and pleasant. Some little comedy here and there and background buildup. This is definitely not going to take hentai or ecchi or fanservice angle I think judging on first episode feel. It is a romance series.

Some people may get uncomfortable with the polygamy angle that this series might present, especially since the spouses might be sisters.

Well, episode 2 continues. Really plain story so far. Nothing too dramatic. We get the male lead acting like an egoistical fella who thinks he is every girl's desire. Then the "what if the girls are in the same place" situation acted out.

Nothing too great but nothing too bad either. Billie the goat got some comedy in though Smile

Guess no one's in this thread because no subgroup in the west has put it out yet...

the last few episodes left me dumbstruck, i think its great after episode 9. this deserves maybe 4 Stars (8 points) rather than the lower one i gave it

i loved this series, although im kinda dissapointed with the ending...kinda not what i was hoping to see...i mean, it was all nice and all, but it just wasnt what i was expecting after episode 12(really good episode i believe). i was really hoping to see more drama in the last episode and not a "everythings fine, lets keep on being friends" kinda ending, where nothing is really solved...

loved the series though, dissaponted me in the very last episode though, but still pretty good ending, only not what i expected...

BTW Sumireiko is by far the cutest girl in the series Very Happy

the ending was pretty lame in my opinion. but apparently they are planning another series based on one of the twin girls. dont know for sure if its the same cast or not but it should be fairly interesting.

For God's sake woman! you cannot end a story with a beginning! Especially when u don't accommodate that beginning with a middle and an end (which will probably be another beginning)[Will there be a sequel? that would be awesome, Confirm it u american pig!]I hate waiting... but yeah, it was still an enjoyable series to watch, although the veternarian girl's weren't really in the story much (at all!) and we didn't see much of the alter ego twins either. And seriously, no one can hoon that much on a bicycle, not on one of those krummy 20th century bikes especially, that was just so unrealistic...like totally.this wasn't a partcularly 'strong' anime don't u reckon, no dreams were accomplished, no signs of which girl he likes most, it's a warm up anime... aka, masih kacangan gitu deh. emoticonsareforlosers.

Why the hell were there so many twins. I counted 1 in the beggining, and they multiplied... Scary. Besides, Nozomu seems to act like hes on speed or sumthing, always jumping around and being so stupid.

From what I seen so far, the character designs are bad, but the storyline is quite interesting.
