Beck's garbage ending makes Grenaider's laughable ending [Rukia vs Evil Black Rukia Clone] look like "the real folk blues"...
I know this show was low budget.... but a slideshow? "this is the day we met up with Ryuske" "This is Leon Sykes getting arrested" "This is a rock'n concert but instead of animating it, you're going to have to settle for this poorly drawn water-color and some commentary"
Seriously, throughout the show I thought the production was skimping on the animation/voice actors/talent to save money for some awesome scenes (like they do in fighting anime i.e. Naruto; Remember the Idate Saga? Neither do I =P) ... I was wrong...
Wasn't this a Madhouse Production anime?.... a resounding WTF... the fights in season two of Tenjou Tenge better be hella sweet with all the money they saved from this anime

| yeah.. ep 26 was alright.., they should have atleast showed the band play at the end ...., and the slide show took so long..., but then it was a great series |

Personally I thought that the slideshow at the end was great. The art was wonderful, the same style as the first ED (probably drawn by Osamu Kobayashi himself).
Anyway, it was not a bad ending at all, except that it kinda spoils the manga for whoever wants to read it after the anime.

gah... i was just dissapointed at the time because the ending kind of indicated that a sequel wasn't likely...
I really wanted to see a japanese voiced "S.L. Jackson" bust a cap in <spoiler>... (celebrity parodies in the beck manga are hillarious) |

Btw I find it kinda ironical that the Pillows songs in the last episode were much better than anything else in the show both in terms of music and vocals...

i watched the last ep few days ago, and i'm still disapointed that it ended, though there probably will be something else like an ova or a movie later on (i hope XD) i was disapointed about the last ep too, i did like the "photographs" about touring america, i did not like that they did not play more songs, but whatever i still say that this show gets 9.5/10
as for the pillows song, it did sound better than most of the songs by beck, but Beck's songs had a lot more history to it, like full moon sway when maho and koyuki were swiming in a pool together for the first time, the song they sang at the carnaval, their new songs too, so i do like Beck's songs more than the one time the pillows showed up |

there were actually two pillows songs
the one on about 3:30 min mark is from the FLCL OST called Last Dinosaur
the other one i'm not sure about |

the other pillows song was "advice" I think
Also why wasn't the pillows in the anime till the end...  they were alot better than some of the other bands they played |

But this series! Yuk. I donno, I was watching the first to episode when I started falling asleep. Is it really worth downloading the rest? I haven;t bothered, but if you guys think it is, then I'll plow through the beggining. |

No. 
Overall I liked this anime... but the ending was to predictable, once the band was formed I already knew that it was going to break up and reform somehow roflle

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. The last ep did feel a little rushed, but it wasn't that bad. The Engrish did make my ears bleed  . Overall I think it was really well done; I got pretty emotionally attached to Koyuki & the gang.
