| I'm interested in this anime. That's the most I can say. An anime about rock music in itself is an interesting concept and I really want to find out where this show will go. I can also say with full confidence that this anime won't make it anywhere near my most favorite shows. Never the less, I'll continue watching it and learn to deal with the awkward pauses in the engrish. |

I don't know about the anime but the manga is definitely my favorite together with GTO. |

Someone asked about the boy band anime a while back. I think you're talking about Kaikan Phrase, although I'm sure Lucifer (the band in question) are meant to be a rock group.
The Kaikan Phrase manga is pure shoujo, (or rather impure since there is a lot of sex) but the first 22 episodes of the anime happen before the manga story starts and concentrates of the formation of the band, and it doesn't follow the manga story line exactly even after than...
Beck is better! |

| By the Boyband anime, you may mean Weiss Kreuz. |

I'm relly enjoying this series now that they've simmered down with the English.
I'm looking forward to seeing how the bully problem will get resolved. I hope Koyuki's band will step in |

yes, this series is great, but the episodes are released slowly and it pisses me off, at the end of ep 8 i wanted to see more and more and more why did the ep had to end? _________________ [img:387:120:36cb7a5440]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/idjota/BL.jpg[/img:36cb7a5440] |

I'm with you here. I'm a bit upset that I started watching this show now instead of when it was finished. This is the type of show which I can easily watch 20+ episodes in a row of without even noticing it. |

| I've seen the raws up to ep 11 (it's pretty easy to do since they are taking the lines from the manga almost 1:1) and I think the show's definitely going very well. Even the English's getting a bit better. Though Koyuki's voice is quite a disappointment. It not as incredible as people's reactions would suggest. Chiba is even worse. Also the songs are pretty generic for a band that's supposed to have the potential to get big. Well, it could be worse I guess... |

Epi 10 has been subbed at AE, but only an IRC release right now. They seem to be having problems with the people on IRC though...
I agree, Koyuki and Chibas voices were a big let down. Even so, I'm still enjoying the anime. I just hope the later parts I remember from the manga are just as awsome in the anime. |

That's exactly what I tried to do after seeing the 1st episode, I kept d/l and not watching until I recently got episode 9 earlier which I thought was enough.......I was wrong -_-;..... I got Episode 10 right after it came out on IRC so I was happy to get the horrible ending of 9 out ^_^.
Dang, just like everyone else, I'll be definitely looking forward for more of Beck =]. |
