Hi,
I was wondering, why is there "part 49" avi file when it looks like all the files are for the same thing?
I already unzipped part 1&2, played them both and they are the same thing.
Same size and length, same encoding, exactly the same. Yet, there it is "part 49" Am I suppose to splice them all together?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK, you are being incredibly vague here and incredibly unclear. Please mention what the 2 zipped files are and what do you mean by "part 49"?

Maybe some screenshots will help.

Sorry about that,
After I finished downloading, I opened the folder and this is what I saw.

Sorry about the pic quality. I don't usually post pics on forums. So I don't really know how.
Basically what you're looking at is the folder the torrent created. The 2 folders are Parts 1&2 avi files that I unzipped. The other folder has a sample avi file.
The names of the zipped files are the same "HIS.Special.Forces.Silent.Heroes.LRRP.XviD.DVDRIP-PXL.partXX"
XX being 01 - 49

I unzipped the first avi file, played it. Saw that there were 49 zipped files. Labeled 01 - 49
I unzipped the the 2ndpart, played that avi, it was the same one as the first.
Is there a reason for what appears to be 49 copies of the same file?
Do I need to splice them all together?

Nopes. Those partXX is just one whole file which is your avi. It was just chopped into smaller archives so it would compress the file even smaller and and easier to fix if corrupted.

To make it clear, you don't have to extract EVERY zip files. Just place all the zip files (splited into parts of course) in one folder and just right click any of them, choose extract.

OK, they are all of the same size, but that does not mean that they are the same file. I think what the person do is that he splits his avi file into 49 parts. WinRAR can do that for you and like Lucifer, just try to extract any of the RAR file and they will join up together to form one big avi file.

Thanks Guys, this was kinda driving me nuts and I was about to unzip them and try to find a program that would let me merge the avi files.
