| I haven't walked out of any movies in a long time, but that ended after I walked out of Ultraviolet yesterday. The only other movie I've walked out of was Shazam. Anyone else ever walk out of a movie? |

Hrm, being as I'm not rich, I have never ever walked out of a movie. Granted I've never come across a horrible movie, but I've never really had the desire to walk out of a movie because it was bad. I have however wanted to leave during the last Lord of the Rings movie. That movie just dragged on and on and on.
A couple of friends of mine wanted to see Ultraviolet. Is it really that bad? |

I've made a whole thread in Entertainment about you shouldn't see it. I went to see it because the guy did Equilibrium, thinking that it would Equilibrium but with a budget. Equilibrium is a low budget movie that's pretty damned awesome, with a fair plot and cool action.
UltraViolet was with budget, but wasn't good. I stayed in the theatres, however, because it was mildly entertaining as I made up some storyline involving the actors from different movies. There were no action scenes in it after she made all the diseased asians kill themselves.
I don't walk out of theatres, but that was because I've watched lots of movies on DVD. Two movies I know I stopped watching were the Dreamers and the Deer Hunter. Deer Hunter is supposedly an amazing film, but no one warned me that it was three hours and slow. After 40 minutes, I stopped watching. The Dreamers was about a brother and a sister with an American play weird sex games involving movies.... Yeah... |

Shazam? Not Kazaam? haha... shaq thinks he can act.
I never go to movie unless I really want to see it (mostly cause the price is so high, it's like a day's pay to get in now). I've definitely hated some movies, but I've always seen them all the way through. As I've mentioned elsewhere, I'm part of a club that purposely rents really bad movies just to laugh AT them. However.... and please don't tempt fate or try to brave... for the love of God and all souls on Earth, DO NOT SEE "Car 54, Where Are You?" I thought it was going to be funny-bad, but noooo, it was I-would-rather-stab-myself-in-the-eyes-with-hot-forks-than-watch-this bad. Put it this way... there's a sex scene with Rosie O'Donnel in it.
I've heard a lot of bad things about Ultraviolet. I thought the premise looked interesting, but I'm sure you all thought the same thing, so I'll heed your advice. It seems like a carbon-copy of Aeon Flux, no? And Domino... and V is For Vendetta... and.... ::list continues on for eternity::
Maybe the chicks-with-guns genre should just stick with the anime medium. Noir and Madlax will forever kick ass. _________________

I've never walked out of a movie before, though I have wanted to walk out on some of them.
One of such movie was back when I was a little kid, went to an English language movie (with an English tutor as a part of English lesson). I couldn't understand any English back then, so naturally I had no idea what the movie was about or even what movie it was... So I sat in the theatre and spent the most excruciatingly boring 1.5 hour of my childhood.
My advice: if you have a kid, never take them to a movie they wouldn't understand. It's a torturous experience to the child. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img] |

My French tutor once took the class to a French play, but she did the smart thing of having us read the script and ask questions. It was really entertaining, because I knew what was going on, so I could enjoy the humour and drama.
V for Vendetta was good. |

I never walk out from a movie in my life as well. I mean, the ticket aint cheap... even if it is horrible you just have to make sure that you pay for what you see. In any cases I always survey if the movie is good or not before watching so i seldom have such problems.
However I do have this little thing with Movie labeled as Horror or Suspens. For some reason, this horror movies never terrified me instead they make me doze off due to it's poor story telling and unrealistic ghost stuffs. I have watch quite alot of Ghost movies from Korea, Japan, Thailand and even US but every each of them makes me sleep.
Venom, The Game, The wishing Stairs, The Grudge, Dark Water, and etc. all makes me sleep... reason why I'm still watching is because most of my friends love it (Especially Females...) and they pay for the ticket so why not?
Current waiting for World Trade Center... ^^ _________________ [img:800:198:5c85a10b1b]http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1347/feenasighk3.jpg[/img:5c85a10b1b] |

Ah--I walked out on just a couple movies..
And some I wanted to walk out of but just stayed because of differing reasons..T_T
Walked outta HP4 and Ultraviolet.. I think (>.>; and I almost walked out of Pirates of the Carribean 2...'Cept PotC2 was an idea by one o' meh friends as a b-day party thing so it seemed a teeny bit rude to walk outta..XD!
Ah--I've only watched one Japanese horror (and forgot the name, XD!) and I've watched maybe 7 Korean horrors (In-Hyoung-Sa, Ryeung are the ones I remember well..I can't type in Korean. XD!~) and many USA's horrors..The ones from USA are just really gorey (sometimes even humorous because it's so absurd) and don't really scare me..But the Korean/Japanese one(s) are pretty okay... |

I never walk out of movies I pay to go see. I always try to find out what's decent before I go, so i won't have to walk out yelling: "What the hell's with this crap?!" to every movie worker. _________________ [img:450:200:d0a28f8b61]http://www.anime-source.com/upload/uploadFiles/9979.jpg[/img:d0a28f8b61]

| Oooo, I did walk out of one movie, and that was Fahrenheit 9-11 I could not stand that piece of trash...all it was was conceited drivel coming out of Moore's mouth as he forced the viewers and movie goers to fork over money to him so he can live in fancy houses and cars and complain about all of the rich people. He is such a....I will stop there, as I do not wish to get into this, but I will say that I walked out on this movie. |

I am very linient when it comes to these matters. Most of the time if I paid the money for it Im going to stay, no matter what. But recently I was ALMOST persuaded to leave the theater during a movie. That movie was Stay Alive. I doubt anyone even dared to see that here on A-Source. But my curiosity got the better of me, and I found myself basking in the craptacular nature of that movie. Any movie where god damn FRANKIE MUNEZ is not only a main character BUT ALSO SOMEHOW BECOMES A STRONG TOUGH GUY WHO CAN BREAK DOWN DOORS EVEN THOUGH HE JUST ALMOST DIED AND SPENT THE WHOLE MOVE CRYING ABOUT BEING USELESS is just pure crap. But, nonetheless, I got my kicks out of it because the movie was HILARIOUS. But still, I ALMOST walked out. Right around the time they ripped off The Ring and The Grudge.... _________________ Miku Miku!!
