Your figure is very good Wow!
Nice details on the clothes, hair and face! And I noticed that you kept pretty much all of your highlights and lighter shades facing the same direction, so that it seems as if there is a light source coming from the right.
Your figure is good, but your landscape could use some work. Drawing a landscape in the background would add more depth to the picture. I see some attempts at clouds in the top portion of the picture~if you want to learn how to draw clouds good, then I recommend sitting outside and sketching out clouds you see in the sky. I would say the same for any other landscape object.
Anyway, great job, an keep it up !_! _________________ [img:400:224:9a48d672c1]http://comalies.free.fr/images/ergoproxy.jpg[/img:9a48d672c1]

wow! thats really good. and your shading's done so well. ahhh, i'm jealous. not much to say bout the body cuz you've really done a nice job.
since you perfected the anatomy, move on to landscapes. and when you're done inking this one, better post it again. alryt? hehehehe _________________ [IMG:120:38:2d3cd20621]http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f214/xenon10/pwnage4os.gif[/img:2d3cd20621] |

Line art of the actual body...
I'm going to create the background from scratch using photoshop.
I'm using random photos from my collection to compile a landscape as well
Photobucket shrunk the size, too lazy to tinker with it but heres the line art I'll be using as a base.

Great!
Just work on line thickness. You seem to have everything else going very well.

Hmmm you need to work on your lines. They aren't steady yet, and kinda like... well wonky.
Try to keep a steady hand, don't press too hard, and use an inking pen to do lineart.
Adding lineweight depends on what kind of art you want it to be. Usually, they SHOULD be lineweight, but if its like a comic page of such (or an actual anime picture) there might not be. _________________ [img:194:68:40fea01228]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v53/HTMLka0s/ajbanner.jpg[/img:40fea01228] |

Aye, I did redraw it. In fact, I traced it over.
I have a used light table from an uncles workshop.
Actually to be honest, I wasn't aware of the line weight problem (I've taken 1 art class in my life and it didn't focus much on these aspects).
I appreciate the wonky line comment actually, after rechecking the line art, it really looks like I had too many coffees while doing it. Also, I should have used a black felt tip pen (My cat was playing with the one I normally used...no clue where it is now).
Curious though..... in what art styles would Lineweight matter? (I really don't know). Like... comic art only or animations, aesthetics?
I do wanna know about this tho, Since I'm actually drawing out strips for a comic that a friend and I are working on. I draw the strip, line art it and send it to him for colouring. _________________ Everybody has something a skill they're good at.
