I still have not caught the show yet but I have learnt a few facts about this show, namely it is a manga adaptation
I managed to snag volumes 2 - 4 of the manga ( no... it would not be readable to English-only speakers ) and could only take a few peeks at them ( no time to fully read them ). The character designs are strangely Akira-like ( rounded faces like kids ) and quite detailed, including background details. The story seems to be focused on a desert soldier wanderer type thing and it love to give some talk about its own weapons specifications. Hmm... if only I can get volume 1, it would clear some things up...
Some selected images ( from Volume 2 )...
How different are the designs / art of the anime from the manga?
*sigh* ( we need a 'sigh' emoticon *sigh* *ponders* ) if only I have time to watch the anime and read the manga... |

Hello, and greetings, I am a brand new member to AS,
At first I downloaded Sunabozu b/c it was 2:00am and I wanted to get started on some new anime, and I have to agree that this amine has maddness, (in a good way) but I think it shouldn't be compared to Samurai 7 (it is an apples and oranges thing to me) they are both great shows in their own way, Sunabozu is going to make you laugh, cry and ask, "WHAT THE @#$% IS GOING ON!" while Samurai 7, (on the other hand) is based on a book, and has more of a moral and makes you think more... |

They have way too much fun in this series. Actually I thought this episode was probably the best outta the three to date.

LOL what series isn't fun when it is focus on boobies?? Heck, even the ED is about boobs. One of my favorite series this season. BTW, Sunabozu is one ugly kid.

I dunno... didn't really like it... after watching the first ep, the first thought that occured to me was a crappy rip off of Trigun with very bad character designs and pretty lame jokes...
Guess the drawing style's not for me... But then, I kind of hate most of those ecchii comedy series anyway. |

this series is kinda disappointing. the animation's great at all, but imho, the humor is so vulgar it just stops being funny after a few lame jokes about "your mom's ______" and t!ts.
but i mean others might have gotten hit in the funny bone by this series so my negative criticism is just my two-bits |

Just saw the 5th ep. It was... strange. You'd think he'd make a much better villan than a hero... not that I'm saying he is. He's an interesting main character.
I loved how things suddenly flipped around at the end. Cursed cliffhangar. I'm looking forward to the next episode. |
