Criticise my drawning please.. ^^

Please.. tell me what I should do to be a better drawner... or something.. tell me what do you think about it?

When a beginner at this, there are a few things to do:
- get a sketchbook. a normal sized sketchbook. not the so-big-it-wont-fit-on-my-scanner-sketchbook.
- take a look at some of the human anatomy stuff. even though you're drawing anime, you still need to know the basics.

As for the picture, its pretty good, but alotta things to work on. The features of her face are all placed wrong. Try using guidelines to prevent that. The nose looks like when you have some dough, then you give it a pinch, and that little piece sticks out. Its too pointy and...like long. Anime noses aren't usually that detailed.

From what I can see of the shoulders, is that they're too small for the head. But just practice with that. (anatomy!)

The style of eyes I wouldn't recommend, but even before they style, they still need work. They should be placed and sized a little different since her head is tilted to the side. Keep practicing, you've got potential. =)

I can draw faces, but not the body... I find it too difficult. I shouldv'e drawn bodies when I was younger.... you still have time to do some drawings right? I'm too busy nowadays...

Go and follow aj's advice and get yourself a sketchbook. Who knows... you might become a mangaka someday~ Wink

lol there is only one thing bothering me: soften the lines of the nose, other than that, the shape of the face and the eyes look really good!

Thnx for the comments =) it really helps.
I drew this drawning when I was 13? sort of..
I'm 16 now.. and I'm still drawning =) I can put another one on it.. =)

and.. I'm having a sketchbook.. normal size.. and the papersize of that drawning is a a-4 too.. (the normal size) it only looks bigger oon the webcam, cause we don't have a scanner =P haha.. My style of the face is much better now.. *my opinion, cause I'm hearing alot of good comments at school lately* I wil post a better drawning soon cause I have to put them on the internet first.. ^^
