| Just as the title asks, and tell why. My two favorites are Nobuta wo Produce and Gokusen. Love Yamapi`s role in Nobuta as Akira and was glad to hear him sing the ending theme with Kame=] Gokusen just a hella good series that i LOVE. Matsujun is hella cool as Shin, Kumai is just sucha damn lovable character&& Oguri Shun does a kickass job of playing Uchiyama! XD |

Only one I ever watched was Densha Otoko. It was great until about half way, then the episodes got repetetive and boring. Also, Japanese actors/actresses tends to "overact". _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img] |

are these gaining popularity or something all of a sudden? A girl I talked to at a convention staff meeting the other day was raving about a couple she was following... be damned if I could remember the names of them. _________________

i have only watched one japanese drama...
hana yori dango...it was actually good..
even tho only 9 eps total...i really liked it..
there are some cheesy lines and stuff but i liked the storyline and the acting..
as a remake from the manga into a drama i say it was better than the manga. |

I've watched Gokusen, Orange Days, and Hana Yori Dango.
Gokusen was pretty good. It was amusing and could hold my attention, so I thought it was an okay J-drama.
Orange days...it was weird for me to like this series in a way since it was mainly all sappy stuff, not much comedy in it. But I really found it to be very interesting. Especially the relationship between Kai and Sae.
Hana Yori Dango though would have to be my favourite out of the three though. I loved the manga and I just adored this series as a J-drama. It was cute and very funny in my opinion. I really liked the actors Jun Matsumoto and Oguri Shun. The actress Inoue Mao who played Makino was great as well. ^_^ |

i have the manga, but the ending just plain suck.
my fav J-drama is Haruka 17. its also based on manga, and surprisingly its better than i expected. _________________ "Look at me, with my pretty bracelet and tiara... I'm a fuckin' princess!"

| My favourite JDrama would have to be Great Teacher Onizuka, based on the anime and manga. I love Takashi Sorimachi's acting, its really original and funny, and he also sings the opening song. Another great JDrama would be Yamato Nadeshico, though its pretty old, but its a great light romance. |
