Revamped FF VII

Um, well, here's a question, not sure if it's already been answered, since I'm currently too lazy to read all these posts. Razz

What do you think was Square-Enix's purpose (or whoever showed it) when they displayed the tech demo? Of course, we all know they didn't do it just because they were bored and felt like doing it.

"Um, like, yea. So for my show & tell, I brought this Revamped FFVII Tech Demo that me and the guys made. I don't know why we made it, I guess we just felt like it.

..okay, so like, any questions?"

Sony asked them to do a demo with high graphics for E3 so they could show what the new Playstation 3 can handle. I think Square Enix has a reputation in good graphics with all the videos in the final fantasy games, they were kind of the obvious choice in that department.

I have heard many rumors towards the FF7 series being redone, but I'm starting to realize that it might be true, but it's one of those things that you'll have to see to believe or at least that's what I think.
