Most member here is asian / western ??

i just curious and want to know
are most of you, that member of this website is western or asian people??

i ask all of you because i want to know wether western / asian people are more or just average anime freak. means crazy with animes until he/she collected the whole series.

and uhh terming people as freaks as in crazy isn't really enticing if you must know... and i don't think that most of the people here are the so called freaks that you so say... i mean take me for example.. i don't own a single manga or dvd of an anime.. heck you might think i hate anime.. Razz

but i do watch it and have series compiled on my comp...

oh yeah to answer your question.. im asian... but live in canada (west) so i don't know where wil you put me into.. Razz

im Chinese, living in Sydney, Australia. i dont spend my money on anime or manga. i do own Cowboy Bebop on DVD but i would never have bought it with the benefit of hindsight. im currently in the middle of watching 4 anime series not including Paradise Kiss which i havent touched in about a month (i still plan to finish it though). not reading any mangas at the moment except Girl Saurus when im really bored. but interested in the Akira manga if i can download it.

Hmmm...yeah....the tearm otaku is prefered by most western anime fans (and apparently Jap anime fans think they are cool, and vice versa for western ones~odd that).............

As for other ppl talking about not being freeks because they dont buy the stuff...well it depends realy......I myself...if I had the moeny...would own a lot of "fan" stuff.......but then again....most western geeks tend to be collectors......

Meh...anyways...to sum this all up~ I'm a westerner, I dont concider myself an anime freek, but an otaku in training....although I wouldnt want to live the life of social outcast that most Otaku do......

but thanks for the idea, me myself didn't think about it.
sorry if some you didn't understand about what i mean.

and the term crazy / freak, i think that because people that like to watch anime like my friends usually got called anime freak. because he got all the series of the animes like gundam seed + the action figure and he got all action figure completed also so my school friends say that he is anime freak.
i am very sorry for some of you that got any offense from this. because my english is not perfect and also i don't know the difference between otaku and freak, i think that it is the same.??
by the way thanks for telling me about this.

by the way i am asian too and born in Indonesia.
me myself also crazy about animes, because i collected many whole series of animes like love hina , maburaho , school rumble , gundam seed, gundam seed destiny, full metal panic fummoffu and the second raid, suzuka, mahou sensei negima, mahoromatic. and aoi yorishi + the enishi also.
