Anyone watching this series...
Seems good so far...
The idea for the story seems interesting enough...
I want to see how well they will be able to play out the conflict they seem to be hinting at with regards to religion... but yeah...
will see the next ep...
your thoughts? _________________

if you ask,i kind of like it,the story and all
The OP is great to me,the ED is kind of weird at first but not bad
One thing thought,i do feel kind of disappointed since compared to the manga (i haven't tried the novel),the anime was kind of not as good as the manga in some aspect (I don't like how they make him so chicken out when he saw Horo transformed in the anime, and how he doesn't feel anything seeing her naked all of that time..just a small detail, but it does make me feel weird)
But overall, that just my opinion,it was a good first ep so far.Looking forward to the next ep. |

i didnt feel anything as well when i saw Horo nekkid... =/
that certainly is a different art form, normally these days.. erm *ahem*
anyways, either thats a refference to a classic style or whatnot, seems pretty amusing.. prolly wont expect much from it tho, but its a nice change of pace. new shows these days tend to copy off each other.. hopefully theres a story to tell here, and hopefully a good one. _________________ [img:400:237:866f672f5a]http://www.geocities.com/bktabz/mari_boya.jpg[/img:866f672f5a] |

"Wow seeing a girl of that caliber and don't feel a thing, this guy is tough"..that's what i thought. But then again, may be i am just too attached to common reaction of guys from recent anime *sigh*
Another thing, while there are some guys complained about the quality of the animation seeing it is done IMAGIN (don't why these guy want to pick on IMAGIN),but i feel the animation just fine, all good.Nothing to complain =/
What about you guys? |

i enjoyed this first ep.
lawrence's character felt a bit awkward to me, i dont think they developed him right. they did ok at first, showing that he's obviously not a playboy or flirt, and can handle himself when a girl is putting out, albeit not very smoothly :p. but his initial reaction to Horo is confused me. a young girl appears in his cart, and he's SCARED? cautious, i understand, but the voice actor made him sound knee-shaking, jaw-jittering scared like Horo was in her full wolf form at the time.
i think the animation overall was good. but there's nothing really going on, so i expected a bit more detail in each scene. as is, the characters look fine and the backgrounds work.
the biggest gripe is how they've chosen to handle Horo's nude scenes. it's one thing to tease with the long hair and coincidentally place tail and furs, but the studio opted to go for the simpler,(and less boner inducing), nipple-less breasts. honestly, i think the only place those work is in transformation scenes (nanoha) and the small pages of manga (love hina, negima). but given how long horo stood there w/out nipples on her flagrantly exposed breasts, it just came off as lazy.
overall, i think the production values are average. they definately wont be the backbone of the show, and rightfully so. a show like this doesnt get made to be eye-candy, it needs to live on the strength of it's story/characters. here's to hoping it can deliver. _________________

I'm a huge fan of... fanservice, however, I think I actually like what they did with Horo's "nippleless breasts". She had a lot of nude time this first episode, and well, I don't think it's all too bad. At least it makes it easy for her to be out in the nude without all of us staring at her breasts?
I dunno, it's just my opinion.
I think I'll be watching this little work of art from start to finish... Anyone else feel the same way? |

seriously guys... if that was even an attempt at "fanservice" then its a fail for me.
however, that particular style may be just right for this particular story(sort of like for a fairy tale and not another echhipoop show).. still i cant decide yet if its "classy" or an attempt to entice...
prolly see this one through till halfway then decide wether to finish or not, the story aspect is gonna be my main drive on watching this, i really hope it would have some substance.. and hopefully there wont be a case of obilgatory horo nude scene every episode. (i wouldnt mind tho if she was drawn much better ) but from what ive seen, nothx just go on with the story. we could do without the skinnies. _________________ [img:400:237:866f672f5a]http://www.geocities.com/bktabz/mari_boya.jpg[/img:866f672f5a] |

| Its pretty original from what is have seen and that seems to be what is attracting me to anime recently. There is just to much cook cutter anime out there this last couple of seasons. |

| I've watched the first episode and I like it so far. Can't say why yet except that this sereis is giving off a different vibe from most other series. It's different and for now I'll be watching it. |

Well my comment is the same as polyguru-san... there is a very interesting feeling to this anime that kept me attracted for some unknown reason.... |

| I think the unknown reason is the fact that it has an original story line (at least I can't recall a show that had something exactly like this). One of my favorite shows at this point. Hopefully we'll get more refreshing shows like this. |

2 episodes in and nothing much to say though...
with only two episodes there isn't any outstanding conflict being put out just yet, maybe in a few more eps...
the pacing seems ok for me though... first ep we get to meet the main character and the meeting up of the main characters... then come episode two and we get a little bit more of an interaction between the two... i think they are moving along just fine...
I gotta say though that ED is just... weird... _________________

I like the ending credits but do wish it was in proper English. Engrish just does not have a place in that song.
Ep 2 and still getting the same vibe as from ep 1. We do get a very tiny peak into the past but it's just snatches that you're left wanting more and wondering how
this conflict will play into the relationship
.
Horo was a delight to watch and Lawrence keeps getting more layers added to him. |
