I'm currently working on making a fanart of Saber from Fate - Stay Night, I changed it a bit to my style, so it'll look different from the orignal Saber from the show. I really love the characters in the show, I think it has some really well designed characters; well, here's the lineart so far; I'll be posting the colored version as soon as it's finished. Hope you guys liked it ^^

Wow! I definetly like that! It has very clean lines and it looks very balanced, except that the head seems a bit small, and shading in the eyes would make it look better. But you said you were going to color it, so perhaps you will do that then. I really like the design too!
Post it back up when you've colored it~ I'm looking forward to seeing it _________________ [img:400:224:9a48d672c1]http://comalies.free.fr/images/ergoproxy.jpg[/img:9a48d672c1]
Which is worse? The madness of following Tao, or the madness of an existence without awareness?

very nice. though i have no idea what a Saber is. it is clean. so did you use the computer or did you manually draw it? yeah, face's too small. wait, i mean head's too small. but the body's good. i cant wait for the finished output. hehehe _________________ [IMG:120:38:2d3cd20621]http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f214/xenon10/pwnage4os.gif[/img:2d3cd20621] |

It is rough sketched in color pencil, and darken with pencil before I scanned it. The lineart is done in Adobe Illustrator and the coloring will be done in Photoshop.
Yes, I realized the head was too small, and the neck to shoulder connection isn't all that great. Well, those are drawing problems and I'll just have to iron them out with more pratice. The coloring is almost done, should have it up soon. Thanks for the input |

Well, she's quite tall compared to the Saber in the Anime, and the small head just make it looked worest. I really need to fix my head issue, oh well. Here's the finished work. Hope you guys liked it

Well, this is my first post in a while... but I have to say great job
But I have sum critique to add..... The head does have sum problems, not just with its proportions to the restof the body, but the position of the eyes seems a bit too low... but maybe its just me....
the rest of the body...

| Hum, maybe the face's too small? Well I don't know, that head's just killing the drawing, oh well, no use crying over it now that it's done. I just have to be more careful on the next one. Again, thanks for the input; I appricate it. While it's painful to see all those errors that I didn't notice on the drawing before hand, it'll only make my next one better. |

well, i'm not really good with colors, but i found the ones you used kind of dull. you used only yellow, white and blue. when i saw you rough sketch, i was hoping for an output with good colors. but, thats just my opinion. hehehe. all in all, it's still good. the shimmer on the armor is amazing. you even had the time to place the reflection of the arm on it. wow! and the cloth, great shadowing. it's really good. damn amazing. hehehe. _________________ [IMG:120:38:2d3cd20621]http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f214/xenon10/pwnage4os.gif[/img:2d3cd20621] |

Well, that's pretty much the color scheme they used on Saber. But then again, there's probably a lot of things I could of done with highlights and shadow on the cloth that would of made it look more colorful. I think I'm going to do another fanart of Saber in the near future, I really liked her character and even though I was pretty happy with this one. I don't think it quite accomplished what I originally had in mind. It gives me more reason to get off my lazy behind and actually pratice more on coloring anyway |

I think you did a good job on the armor. But I would prefer a lighter background color since the character has dark-colored clothes. _________________ I'm not a psycho, I'm just crazy I__I |
