OMG...my PS2 is starting to get "Disc read Errors"...
I hope those cleaning kits can remove the dust from the laser lens T.T...or if not, I'll have toget me a new Slim PS2 s I can play some more before PS3 is ut...

( I just hope it's only dust on the Laser Lens)...

Usually that can happen when the see through inner part of the disc is scratched. If that has occured the game is now ruined and no longer possible to play.

Otherwise your PS2 is a few years old as my friend and his CD's are burned and scratched like crazy.

yea when the ps2 first came out some people systems malfunctioned and broke had the same problem as you guys some people who were really luckey got theres to work for about two or three years. for me I had to move the laser around.

I only had my PS2 for 3 years...which was 2003.

and My DVD games have NO scratches on them...not one. Since I don't buy used games and I take care of them like tey were alive lol.

call SONY huh? actually, I tried to open it and clean it by myself but no luck...I can't even take off the cover, maybe I'm just stupid (there goes the warranty seal~).

<edit> well i fixed it....tell me what u guys think, its related to a videogame so its ok...tolk me a little over an hour to make and, i made the program code ages ago for autoupdate. i think it turned out quite nicely...i have like 5 others i choudl ahve used (back ground colors and scheme). thats my site in the two areas, notthign much but hey my works on it what can i say? i'll even explan what each symbol stands for if ya ask.

Replay value on old games, on the every now and then always play street fighter 2 and mortal kombat 2 on the sega mega drive with the 6 button controllers they had with my cousins, brings backs memories.

the only game i play on playstation is Castlevania:SOTN and the occasional street fighter EX2 which i still havent finished.

I only replay perfect dark or super smash bros on my n64 which brings back memories on how noob I was in the begining and finally bringing myself up into being a not to shabby video game player. But with my ps2 I do not often get bored since the greatest hit system for the ps2 keeps the games on a low price basis. Very Happy
