haha this manga is so funny. the joke about their dicks is hilarious! and they make fun of ugly girls! hahahahaha that's messed up!

This manga is like... 20 years old! I think... since Takamura is only 20 years old in vol 2, and his DOB is 1969

I also noticed something. In Vol 2, when they introduced Mashiba, he looks.... less evil... but afterwards he had that evil look in his face. (Mashiba is the one with the Flicker, right?)

thanks for the site ZerosEdge now im really up to date with ippo. the next opponent is gonna be hard as a mother...but then again when aren't they? they have a lot of good mangas but they're not up to date at all, well some i don't really know about others.

I don't know if this can be considered a spoiler but, It was really hilarious when Ippo went to a doctor. Ahaha! Well she's pretty, and she kept on massagin him, something's bound to come up. She even leaned over Ippo's shoulder! I have a female classmate who used to do that, works every time~ Embarassed

Anyway, as I read more and more, I'm really starting to feel that this manga is quite "manly" oriented. The most female exposure there was, was when they went to the beach. And it wasn't even more than 2 cells. But "men" exposure can get up to 3 pages at least! Hmm... something's fishy here.

Umm, I know the penis jokes are funny, but this is just plain weird. I think it's getting too much~ ehehe. But I'll still read it though, the story is too good!! Now that's just my opinion, maybe I'm paranoid...

I haven't come to the part yet were Ippo gets lots of girls... I'll be waiting for that...

I also noticed a lot of stuff since I'm re-reading the whole thing. Aoki's friend (I forgot his name, the one with the Dragonfish Blow) wasn't always around. In Vol 2, Aoki was introduced, but not him (I thought they were always together, y'know). Also, in the earlier volume there was a lot of people in the gym, but at the latter volumes we only see Takamura, Ippo, Aoki, Coach, Coach's assistant, and the dude that I forgot the name of.

Also, spoiler time!

Three girls like Ippo: Yuki, Itagaki's sister, and the reporter. btw, Itagaki starts appearing in the latter volumes, prolly in the 40's
