kimura, aoki's best friends name is kimura. and thats kinda good when they introduced aoki and not kimura it shows a little bit of more realism as far as not making them "one character" that they'll always be with each other and you'll just think of them as the 2 guys that are always togethor.

If you think about it, the two's always together. They met takamura at the same time, fought together when they were a 2-man bike gang. They joined the same gym at the same time, of course I'm gonna think that the mangaka would've introduced them at the same time.
I think AS has up to vol 34 here

yea they were MOST of the time togethor, definately closer than takamura or ippo but in the beggining when you start to read or see the anime you don't know that they were always togethor, you don't know thier past so how could you assume that they were always togethor (in the anime did they introduce them at the sametime or did they not like the manga?).
and they're closer to each other than takamura for OBVIOUS reasons (no not "closer" as in homosexual if your thinking that anybody) and in the beggining it focuses more on ippo before they start focusing on secondar characters.

but what I'm saying is that they could've AT LEAST introduced Kimura. But it's water under the friggin bridge, wtf can I do about it

I have really enjoyed this new series - or I did until Ii was de-listed or demoted as far as points that matter for the viewing of manga...
sadly, this is on top of the damage to my house in Gulfport...
oh well...

meh like always or most of the time he has the odds against him but now
let's see how he does with somebody that can counter the dempsey roll, it'll be a good fight to see how he will fare against miyata, but miyata's counter is different he puts his wieght on it.
so in the end i want to see how he goes around this one....if he does.

if you want to talk above volume latest volume on the server (36) then use spoiler tags, i've only read up to 40+ and I don't like haveing things spoiled (at least for this manga) or form another thread thats for discussion of manga up to vol 52 where you can talk about anything you want withough using spoiler tags

Oh alright, fine...
as for the latest volumes which is vol 52 chap 8, just refer a few pages back.
The new opponent, who is apparently a better counter technician than Miyabi, will be Ippo's new opponent. The way the D-Roll works is that Ippo goes into the opponent's blind side, and one way to counter it is to merely tilt the head back, eliminating the close range of the blind side. One guy (thick neck guy) already countered the D-Roll, but he does it by sacrificing his face. This new guy will probably counter it before it starts
