This series is a true gem among ecchi comedy. http://www.5-2.jp/
This OVA series is about a 5th grade boy Sato Ryota, who constantly gets into very misunderstandable ecchi situations with his female classmates. It's all entirely adult humor despite its elementary school kids theme.

Adapted into an OVA by studio Shinkukan (previous works consists only of adult OVAs). I watched one of their adult OVAs called Mahou Shoujo Ai, and despite its seemingly innocent title, that anime made me feel sick to my stomach.

Nevertheless, they did superb job at Kyou no Go no Ni. Scenes are humorous, and reminds me alot of Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan. I like how they bring out all the sexy details during the ecchi scenes (of course nothing ever happens, c'mon they're only elementary school kids!). Anyone who enjoyed Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan will get a kick out of this series. I whole heartedly recommend this series.

Do you think it should be labelled as ecchi? There are a lot of sexual situations, but like you said, they're in gr. 5!

Yeah, Mahou Shoujo Ai was pretty gross Confused

Anyway, I watched the 1st OVA and I thought it was hilarious. They seem to separate one episode into 5 short stories that have little relation with each other. It's hard to believe that these little grade five students think about such things.

I'm actually not a fan of the "sexy" details. I'm still bothered by the age of the characters.

My favourite story was probably "Collarbones". Although the first one was just as funny. I forgot the title, "Bura bura" ?

Good series, I'm planning to follow it.

Yeah, you should definitely add "ecchi" next to the "comedy". This is very similar to Dokuro-chan minus all the gore.

I was complimenting on the things like the use of facial expressions.

I think it's just a clean fun even though they're elementary school kids. There is no lust with these characters; well maybe there is some lust in the main character's mind (He's sooo gonna grow up into a pervert hehehe). But I don't think this series is as lolicon oriented as Ichigo Mashimaro was.

Also I would like to see other ecchi comedy manga like this get animated: such as Imouto wa Shishunki. It's a four-panel comedy, but Azumanga Daioh anime pulled it off perfectly, so I'm sure they can make Imouto into anime too.

i wouldnt really say this anime is ecchi... but yea, the style of this anime is similar to dokuro-chan, some jokes are not bad, and others are lame. But if you have nothing to do and would like to kill some time, then go ahead and try this. I'm not really a fan of mini stories in an episode, but this is passable.

This anime is so perverted its classy. I love it and I would kill for unlimited/more episodes. Unfortunately it won't even go past 5.

Yeah, I picked up this manga a few months ago somewhere...

As soon as the show started I had a notion, and I randomly picked the series out because I saw comedy, but man was I surpised that it was actually the same thing.

The title I know it by is "Today in class 5-2" - I think.

Anyway, sticks very closely to what I've seen before so it'll be short, it's still just as enoyable though. The expressions are great, especially the scary faces that Ryouta makes. You can call it ecchi, after all, the comedy in the show is all based off of sexual situations... Except they use 5th graders, so you know it's not gonna go too far with it. It feels nostalgic... Since by 5th grade I would probably already have been considered a pervert myself. It's surprising just how much some kids know at a young age, and it's more surprising now. Great show though, I'll keep watching it.

Very cute story to it too.

And yeah... It's all about the Collarbones.

for a seemingly random anime i was very much entertained... the collarbone was something fresh for me so i had to laugh at it.. Razz

the most laughable part for me was the "undefeated" (?????) segment... where the two kiddies got locked in the storage room... hahaha that was a totally funny misunderstanding.. Razz
