Anime-Source Synopsis & Reviews
Lunar is fansubbing this, and the manga is being released in English right now as well.
What it reminds me of is DNAngel if Dark and Daisuke had an interest in each other ^^. Well, not quite.
This seems to be a story picking up on Japanese myths with the main protagonist sort of a scholar of mythical monsters. He's been friends with them since he was a kid, and in all that time he's been searching for the most powerful one of all, whom he calls Haruka.
Utterly kawaii Bishonen and also a very cute Kitsune fox. I don't know if there's a bigger storyline yet, in the first episode they basically introduced the protagonists. On the strength of the anime I am ordering the manga though. |

The good, the bad and the ugly (and cute - the fox spirit is very cute) from spirits, monsters and demons world is all happening here.
Kan is a scholar. He has been looking for Haruka since he was a child. He releases Haruka from his prison and in doing so becomes Haruka's master. Haruka is a very powerful spirit and in the past has gone by other names, he is also known as a demon eater.
Kan does not allow Haruka to kill the demon he fights with in episode 1.
Am looking forward to episode 2. Has the promise to be a good series. Introduces us to the 2 main characters but has not given us a good look at their personalities yet, though it seems that one is gentle and the other is a killer.
Also the first episode is pretty much self contained, wonder what the actual story for the series is going to be like. |

You haven't read the manga yet either? Maybe it's so new...
Well, they have it in stock at my shop so it must have been released. It's being released by ADV Manga, by the way, so we can ALMOST be SURE that they will also license the anime *makes significant eyes at the Lunar crew*

| I found the second episode rather boring. Nothing much really happening beside the demon of the day plot. Also the demon animation did not look scary, if anything I wanted to laugh. Hope the next episode is better. |

got to agree with that...let's hope this anime doesn't do the whole "demon of the day" idea every episode

but the type setting and quallity was horrible on ep 6....wtf
the random stories have become less appealing and haruka's coolness factor has completly disappeared and theres like no plot at all....or at least i dont see one.

| yeah, i don't see one either. the first ep was really great and i anticipated a lot of thing about this anime, now i think i'm going to stop listen to it. there's no plot over this... may be one day... but it's kind of long..... so ! |
