Wut do u ppl think about gay animes?

I'm okay with gay anime, but i still prefer normal anime though. Watching guys kiss each other, still a bit weird, but there has been a lot of this stuff happening even in real world, so i just have to bear it and try to enjoy it.

A lot of people are being a bit closed-minded about this in general. You see there isn't a sub-genre of gay anime (except for the yaoi and yuri explicit titles) and as such you'd be missing out on some real gems if homosexuality is something you can't grow to appreciate.
Look at how well done the relationship between Sailor Neptune and Uranus is in Sailor Moon. Anthy and Utena in the Utena movie. Juri and Shiori in the Utena TV series? Those shows are just better for it as they come out as being more human than something that just has generic sexuality for the whole cast.

Would we feel for the characters from Saint Seiya if it weren't for them expressing their feelings the way they do(some of the characters are yaoi-light)? Would Magic User's Club be as interesting and funny without Abaratsubo? What about the relationship between Zoisite and Kunzite in Sailor Moon, or Mamuro and Fiore in the first movie? Shinji and Kaworu in Evangelion?

I think that a non-generic sexual attraction between characters can add to a show. If you don't like gay anime, just don't go for hardcore titles like Ai No Kusabi or My Sexual Harassment. But don't miss out on gems that use it to add layers to their story.

Maybe only people who have different sexual intention will enjoy it but it not me. But if it have a good story and not to focus on gay or lesbian thing. i think i still can enjoy it

I myself am not into that kind of stuff but i respect the opinions of those who do. But if you detest it and hate it to the core, that somewhat makes you against the gay community and thats just not kool.

well gay animes are awkward for some people but those animes are usually making the guys look like girls so yeah..

I'd say it's just peachy, but it doesn't affect what I watch.
If it's a good series, I'll check it out, but if it's totally horrible, it being a "gay anime" isn't going to make me pick it up regardless.

I'm sorry but I could not bring myself to read any Gay manga, I must admit that one time I came across a gay manga and read the first chapter and I became very uncomfortable. But once again Gay manga is another one of those personal prefs.. Some people like them, some people don't.

Honestly I don't really care I think it's a matter of personal preference so there's no real point in asking this question since the answer varies per person.

it really depends on the anime for me. if its a good anime overall ill watch it but if it sucks i don't watch it, so in the end i don't mind gay anime at all.

personally i dont watch them but all my friends who r girls watch them but i do hate it when they lend me an anime to watch which happens to be bootleg and it turns out that it is a gay anime that happens to solely revolve around sex

i have nothing against homosexuals but when they're "getting it on" I cant watch anymore.
