That would have just been unbelievable! Come to think of it, wasn't Erstin supposed to feature in the OVA's at some point... Maybe Arika has been possessed by her spirit! 
Otome is an alternate universe to Hime, by the way. It's not the distant future at all. It's just all the same characters in a different world. Which I think is a clever idea, but hey, that's just me. |

| According to wikipedia....the second epi should be released on 2007-02-23. |

This OVA is completely void of any kind of serious overtone. Considering what happened in Mai-otome, Mai-HiME, and many other Sunrise series, you just can't take character deaths seriously anymore. We all know anyone who dies will somehow be walking around alive at the end.
I guess we are to just sit back and enjoy the bouncy eye candy. |

Aren't you being hasty with the posting, tsk tsk.
I probably wouldn't recommend watching this until you've actually watched the original Mai-Otome series.

you can watch mai-otome without seeing mai-hime since the stories don't apply to each other what-so-ever .. but you will miss out on some of the "little" things here and there .. |
