Yakitate!!! Japan

I loved this manga... therefore I loved the anime as well!! I think of all the anime I've seen so far, this has got to be the most precise one!

I mean, unlike the other animes that came from mangas, they changed the story just to squeeze things in, but in Yakitate, it stayed true to the manga... although not perfectly, but close enough~

And I love the 1st Opening song.. Comet Cloud is such a harmonious and great song. Very Happy

One of the funniest animes ive ever seen! When i first heard about this anime i was like why would i wanna watch an anime about bread but after I saw it I loved it. My favorite part of the anime is when they have little parts of different animes in the story... but if you havent watched a lot of anime you might not get whats goin on. O and i love to see some of the retarded reactions that they come up with when trying something.

this anime is getting more tense with the yakitate matches just left with few more to go, and with one loss does not dettered the team to be more commited to the match..........

the most recent epsiode that i like is the nori battle which is very interesting...... Cool

very sad it has ended, hopefully they will continue the series in the future.

I loved the reactions to Meisters bread, left you with a feeling of 'what the? Where the hell did he go?' Especially the second (and third) time.
Actually after ep. 68 I was sure they were going to fight St. Pierre, that Meister would do something like that completely surprised me.

And St. Pierre keeps being evil; hadn't forseen this..

On a different note, shouldn't this be moved to archive forum anime mods??

I'm big on closure, but find myself a little short on time...

I was wondering, for those who are reading the manga, at what point is the manga at? I was really hoping for a more "complete" ending than episode 69.

An amazing Anime and Manga, at first, when watching it, I thought to myself who would watch anime about bread making. Before I knew it I was done with the anime and onto the manga. LOL!

I enjoy Yakitate Japan very much! Though for some reason I predict mostly everything that occurred in the anime. Like special ingredients or what would occur. =\

Whatever, I liked it!!!

Also I enjoyed every reactions that occured when the judge tried the amazing bread!

I know this was a mistake but I watched the first 3 episodes, then I jumped to episode 35 randomly. Well It wasnt my choice, but it happened anyways. I have to say that it just wasnt as funny. I hope that isnt a sign of things to come....

Just started watching Yakitate! Japan from the begining ~ this is my first run watching the anime in order. It is definitely a unique anime! Just up to the part where Azuma ties with Mokoyama in the new bread competition thingy Very Happy

I really liked the manga and the anime is living up to it so far XD

this anime was great (though the mangas better) I really want to try making some of the bread they made lol. The great thing about this show was that it was funny but didnt try to put in different genres like a love story or ecchi stuff...it stuck to the cooking theme and it really showed the wittiness of the creators through the creative and hilarious reactions

This series is insane, but even insanity gets old after a while. I still enjoyed it, though, even with the recycled feel near the end.
