A lot of the times, big boobs are distasteful because they're usually to sastisfy some person's fetish. But I think this show uses it to make those witches look more intimidating. Just like how people view bigger spiders as more scarier than tiny ones. Bigger is always scarier. Therefore, if the witches' breasts are shrunken, they won't have as much impact and will be less frightening.

I can not complain thought 'cause it's licensed anyway.

well good theory about her breasts. they look sexy, especially when she is in her combat mode Cool

but get hit by those breasts looks to be painfull. Shocked

Well, this really isn't a bad show. Doesn't really stand out much (aside from the boobtastic outfits/battle scenes), but iguess it's ok. Shallow? yeah. Could have been better? Sure! But it has neither bored nor annoyed me, so I suppose it is good enough to keep watching it. Who knows? maybe a stronger storyline will show up sometime...

Hopefully ep 8 will be out soon.

Yeah, this show is pretty good. It's a pity Bakakozou (who I highly respect) are taking so long to sub the episodes. I'm surprised no other group has taken this series up...

Well, Withcblade is not exactly a high profile show or among the very best, so it is understandable that not many people are interested in it. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was way more popular and was done by one fansub group, although another one picked it up later. This series was being done by more groups but it was dropped by them. Only Bakakozou is left.

Anyway, Bakakozou IS pretty slow, but the quality of the sub and the image are pretty good, so I really can't complain. Plus, nanashi and Eureka SeveN have really taught me to be patient...

Oh, one complaint about the show: I really don't like the Op.

Well, not too bad of an episode, although rather slow. The uhh... robot guy this time around was pretty weird, aparently he didn't want to fight. Are these things made out of people? Makes you wonder...

Anyway, it doesn't take a genius to suspect that Rihoko may not be Masamune's daughter after all. The hair color matches that of.. whats-her-name... the cloneblade user much better. could She be the actual mother? also, when fleeing with the witchblade she was holding a baby that could have been Rihoko.
At least now they're adding some mistery to the series do make it more interesting and not depend exclusively on the "ULTIMATE BREASTS ATTACK" to keep the audience watching.

And yes, the OP is crap. It starts well, nice guitar, interesting time signature, but as soon as the guy starts singing it descends into awfulness. Who IS that guy? I'm sure I've heard him do OP's or ED's for other shows and I've never liked his voice...

By the way, leoxjm, I'm loving your avatar. Shirow really is a talented guy, isn't he? I'd watch an anime with her in. Sexy Pirates Ahoy!

Gosh in my eyes this show keeps dropping... now down to 6/10.... and if it continues... I gotta honestly classify how enjoyable it is.... lesse... hmm.. lets compare some of the short series to it.... Gungrave/Elfen Lied are like a complete different level and was sooo much better (not a 10)....

Speed Grapher, Get Backers.... way more enjoyable... so not a 9.

Even the stupid Full metal achemist, Blood+ with its issues and even the weak Fate Stay Night were more enjoyable... hmm.. not an 8.

Scrapped Princess/Wolf Rain level of enjoyment... not really.... so 6 is definitely happening if this continues.

I've watched the fansub till ep 7. Then jumped in and dowmloaded the raw for final ep 24.

What a disappointment the ending was. Now to be fair, I don't understand the language but I did not like how they ended the show. So that's it for me, I dropping this series.
