God, the anime does NOT do the manga justice! It just ruins the story completely... They leave so much detail out! I'm agree with one of those posts above, the manga really was intended for older ages and they turned the anime into something for kids and ruined it completely..

I'm really disappointed. I just hope that they improve. Tch, introduced Agito in the first damn episode..

im more like: i hope this anime doesnt go for more than 12 eps... let the suffering end as soon as possible..

damn.. not even a single decent simca fanservice scene to pacify..

3 episodes in and this anime is just ok. it seems worse than it really is only because the manga is so good. i agree the anime is dumbed down a little for the kiddies i guess. but on top of that the art is not as good and it doesnt seem to flow as well. all to be expected i guess. but if you ever read mai hime or school rumble and then saw the anime you know that an anime can follow a great manga and be just as good if not better.

pretty sure i wont be following this anime anymore.

im dropping this.. its not even worth watching out of 'obligation' -coz i like the manga as an excuse...

and since when was ringo and ikki in the same grade/year/class? okaay.. so they changed the story a bit.. it isnt that abnormal to say the least.. most animes did deviate from the manga but turned up good... but with a crappy patched up story flow and even crappier animation... this just ruins everything i like about airgear.. and with bucha and his troops dancin -that was the last straw. it was the most retarded set of frames i ever laid my eyes on.

I agree that this anime went to crap, the deviation on the manga I didnt mind but cmon that dancing killed it and if anything watching that made us all a bit more deedeedee from doing so. this anime is officially dropped.

its really that bad? i read the manga after the first ep and i dint think it was too bad of crossover. Of course things are going to be lost and the manga will always be my fave but its not that bad is it? Ok bucha dancing was just WTF??????? but that was it. Of course your gonna lose things from the manga because in the end the anime is only going to be a limited number of eps!.

(btw arnt ringo and ikki teh same age?? OR was she a year younger??)

This just seems like a show that's good on it's own until you see the manga... For the most part I didn't have too many problems with it, but I'm not sure if I'll get around to watching the 4th ep or not. After reading the manga... The anime is just... Not that great.

I origionally like manga better for the most part, so that's just my opinion.

I kinda liked it. But from what I am reading the manga is so much better. I might just have to pick that up and go from there. But I think I will still watch the anime too!

*edit* Ok I started the manga now, and I can really see the difference.. The anime is toned WAY down for tv. Sorta changes the story a bit as well.

Ikki really gets on my nerves, him and his friends because they are all such punks/dooshbags. The story isn't horrible I think, but the characters I just really really hate. And that girl in the pink during the house thing... that just pissed me off because his character has nothing good about it yet he is being given all these advantages in the anime. Yup I dropped it too.

The manga is better a few hundred times... Well... for the sake of RINGO and SIMCA... gonna watch it till the end ^^

Btw... isn't Spit Fire is a little too cool in the anime comparing the manga... though I prefer the manga version... ^^ Well I love it when he often goes like this:
