I dispise the anime version of Air Gear >.>
just because of the bird.
IF I SEE THAT F***ING BIRD ONE MORE TIME...

Yeah, the bird is annoying, but I think if there is a dvd release of the anime and some kind sub group out there is nice enough to do it. I'm sure the bird will not be there.

Also, the anime has passed the chapters that Scum Scantalations has completed. So, every episode from this point will be new to me. The manga is definately better than the anime, but I still enjoy watching it. The anime moves through the story at such a fast pace and leaves so much out that the manga sometimes goes into detail with.. However, it still can be overlooked, because it isn't all that bad..

Alright, so I watched Air Gear Trick 21. What's kinda odd for me is that, ok Ikki has the Fang Regalia (right) from Agito, well when will we see him using it and will he ever use it if he links up with Genesis and becomes the Sky-king/leader.

Just wondering

first impression i tot it was a kiddie anime haha but got it all wrong. woo watch it one shock epi 1 to 20... now d/ling 21. Looks like i better read the manga since u guys were like complimenting it XD

lets put it this way.. if there was no bird.. then this series wouldn't be on tv anymore.. lol but its a lot better than the elephants in Inukami.. which i am GLad were there lol

Yeah this had me wanting to see the next episode for a while at the start, then it went quite bad, and now with Genesis allying Kogarasumaru i like it.

So do you guys watch it subbed by Kyuu or speed-subbed by Leichi?

I watch it speed-subbed by Lechie, I see nothing really wrong with the quality and maybe a few grammar mistakes here and there.

I really like the way the story is going, Ikki seems to be acting more and more like a leader and becoming more mature as each episodes pasts, I can't wait to see what's next.

Well i dont agree with more mature, but his AT riding skills have gone from nothing to something very quickly. Thats bcoz he is the man that is closest to becoming the sky king

and i also watch Leichi, and even IF it was bad quality, as long as it is understandadble, its ok for me and its watchable. Same with the You-Mom sub of Uta and School Rumble.

p.s. Wikipedia has some nice little spoilers about the storline of this anime

I'm a writer and grammar mistakes really piss me off! Razz

Needless to say, I'm watching Kyuu.

There's nothing inherently wrong with speed subbing, I just get annoyed when groups just do the odd episode (or when quality suffers because of it). It's also annoying because you get inconsistencies in translations. I like to have a series where all the names remain the same, etc.

There seems to have been a spate of speed subbing groups deliberately pissing off 'proper' subbers recently, as well. I think this does nothing but cause the subbing (and therefore anime) community problems as a whole.

Yeah i understand about the consistancy of names. Like how some would say 'Shiningami' and others say 'Death God' and some won't get them. I get speed subbed bcoz, weill ist done quickyl and i want to watch the next epi ASAP

And to stop us from going off topic, anyone know how long this series will go on for? Id say a while bcoz its a Shonen like Naruto and Bleach, but anyone know the EXCAT number?

I'm seeing it being around 50 or so episodes. I haven't read the manga in awhile, so I really don't know what is happening past this point. 50 episodes just seems to be the sufficient amount to have decent character development and story development and have a decent ending.

dang that was one of the best endings for a anime. hopefully they'll have a season 2.
