I might be shot down for saying this, but i think this is on par with School Rumble. The humour is of a different namture, more subtle but just as funny.
Damn i love the way how Haruhi uses blackmail / extortion to get the things she wants. |

| not as good as SR. though still very good. i'd say its second only to SR. it might still get there but i remember several times laughing so hard i was tearing up during SR last season. its a worthwhile comparison only because theres very little else out there that has been as funny. honey and clover at times was kinda funny. cant think what else. |

okay... I just watched 4 raw. Now I REALLY think that we need to follow Haruhi's episode number, and not Kyon's.
Throughout the whole episode, I don't think I saw any indications or flashbacks on how the young "transfer student" come and join the SOS-Dan. Besides, there are some screenies that we haven't saw before.
We saw Yuki's alien power and she has demonstrated this power in front of Kyon too! And something... big seems emerging on one night too.
Next episode is the REAL episode 3... I think, if what I heard right from Haruhi. Seems all the signs are leading to it. AND The next episode is entitled The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi III. (At the end of it... we might need to put this in a sensible chronigical order

Interesting that you say that... now I'm curious. I'm downloading episode 4 the moment I get home (since I've heard elsewhere that the sub is available). I know there are a lot of Haruhi fans out there, but I'm getting on board with the Mikuru fan-slub... she's just so gosh-darn adorable. And the horrible things Haruhi does to her, I'm very anxious to see what will come next and if Mikuru will ever say anything back 
and mistabean, you're signature is hypnotising me... yeeesss maasstteerrr
and now I'm off to find/make the most kawaii Mikuru avatar!!!

I got some screencaps on my photobucket that I'm going to crop and resize. I would do it now, but my computer here at work won't save the bmp img as a jpg and vice versa... don't know why, it's aggravating.. grrr
I think A-Source should consider having a MofHS avatar/banner competition... seems like everyone has some kind of related icon in their posts somehow, somewhere

This anime has great promise for me. I really enjoyed the the 2 most recent. Not so much the first one. I think the humor in this is great. It's not really slapstick but kinda just in conversation type.

whoever says that the first episode wasn't the best one evar should be covered in bubbling pitch and feathered!!!!! j/k
no really, after the first episode everything is kinda predictable, once you know that haruhi will do pretty much anything....
i hope more fanservice is in the works

That's what I didn't like its kinda of like having the final episode first then the series. You know what will happen so you aren't quite as interested in watching it.

Jesus... Though I think this series is great but does this anime really THAT influencial??? O_O
And yup... guess Nagato really doesn't have the "Talent" compare to the other SOS Brigade Members... Hmm... Mikuru-channnn..... myeheheheh.... *drooling*
