Not likely, since the anime ended with almost the same ending as the manga.
The only thing they could possibly pass out now would be OVAs with the two idiots recounting their past, i.e. flashbacks but the flashbacks are actually scenes from the manga that the anime crew did not use for the anime.
Green haired bakemono : Eh!!! Did that really happen, Seiji-kun?!
Orange haired fool : Yes, remember? Then there is the time...
*flashback into another new scene begins* |

| well seeing how midori no hibi was rushed to an abrupt end and skipped out many parts in the manga... if they made a s2 not so suprising.. but probably going into flashbacks |

really, that would be great if they had a second season, but what would happen, I haven't read the manga, but I thought they pretty much ended it. _________________ "This World is made of Love and Peace!"

| Even if they do make more Midori no Hibi I don't care. I think both the anime and the manga were very disappointing. A few semi-interesting ideas weren't enough to save them from turning into typical mediocre drivel. |

| Midori no hibi was a average series in my opinion, and Samura and Midori became lovers at the end, so the serie is finished for good. |

| MnH was an ok manga/anime for me. It was a cliche of the normal love stories. Where the main character sticks with the first girl he was with. Season 2 seems like a interesting idea, but i agree with the other about have only flashbacks. In my opinion, i liked the anime more than the manga, but I need to finish off hte manga series first... |

I really cant see a way they could make a sequal. The premise of the first was quite unique and unless they were gonna like make him a little hand dude.... I dont know _________________ "Let them hate, so long as they fear" |

| I thought the anime & manga will have different ending, but no. Both have the same ending. I actually hope for different ending where Kouta will end up with Midori and Seiji end up with ... er ... uh, I forget her name. But anyway, I think this series have already finished their stories. Why should there be any more season ? |

| if at all they decide to do a second midori no hibi series, it would have to be something along the lines of how full metal panic? fumoffu was. the best thing about the anime version of midori was that they didn't just compress the manga's storyline, they did a good job of it. all of the fluff and filler, while funny in its own right, would be pointless to have in an anime series if you want to maintain consistent animation quality on a budget (which MNH was no doubt on). frankly, i don't think midori would have EVER gone for kouta, it would defeat the whole reason behind her becoming seiji's right hand to begin with. seiji and ayase might be more likely, but not much more. if they do more, do some of the funnier parts of the manga, like the mud wrestling, which was one of my fave parts of the manga. |
