Does your parents blame anime for your bad grades Question

My parents do that they say da if i dont get 70-85% she wont let me watch anime series Sad

It's kinda hard for me coz im chinese and i am in a french school and i aint realy good at french... Confused

My parents want me to read but I hate readin except for mangas... Evil or Very Mad

Oh, sure they do, but it doesn't matter. The thing is, do you think anime is responsible for the bad grade you are getting? If yourself thinks yes, then, maybe you should stop doing so then...

I dont think it affects my grades but they dont believe me Confused

Sometimes i hav 90% and more they say nothing not even a BRAVO!!! Evil or Very Mad

but if i ever get less than 65% they will yell at me and blame dat anime affects my brain... T.T
They want me to watch some news or somethin educational T.T Shocked

Ah, I pity you.

Frankly, even if they do say words about it, what can they do? Unless you are too young, they can't really do anything about you watching anime or not.

my dad just says that I should have done better and that he is greatly dissapointed in me and ashamed and I'm screwing my life up....

...but two seconds later we just forget about it.....

My parents blamed anime too...i blame the parents haha...i did bad in math so my mom sent me to the government building to get a social security number so i could work...this was my punishment....get this...the building was RIGHT BESIDE china town and i was heavy into sailor moon....they had so many sailor moon things in china town it was sick...some punishment LOL

when my grades drop, it's the result of laziness. my parents know if I'm not motivated to do an assignment, the chances of it getting done is slim to none. they can't blame anime and mangas, cuz i would just waste my time some other way.

I think discipline is needed deh...

you need to know when to divide your time between studying, reading manga and watching anime...
(most of my time is taken up by the last 2 anyway... ehehehehe Smile

Its not the anime's fault, its the creator of anime fault, for making it so damn good. But i think anime does kinda effect my grades cos i dont do what redragon3883 says and ive gotten heaps crappy grades. well im in a selective school wich is like a school for smart kids and i was smart in yr 7 but when i watched anime in late yr 7 it effected my attitude and im in yr 9 now and im in the lowest class, such a shame. I just watch anime and read manga and leave the studying till last. Why did they make anime soooooooo good. So blame the creators lol

My parents don't really care about that anime stuff, they only said things to me that 'I'm lazy'(always being lazy) or 'too much tv'(addict in watching tv). The truth is they think that anime makes my grade higher.
They always bought new anime cds or a new manga then make a deal with me. They said they will give the things I want just make my grades higher or go in the top 10 of the class and my grades are always high.

thats how it used to be, them blaming me for bad grades.
now that i finished highschool and doing jap at university, it helps me with my grades Twisted Evil

kinda like a funny time paradox, huh?

My parents never did blame anime for my bad grades... they blamed video games... But I guess they would probly blame anime if they knew I watched it. then again, they would blame me for anything I did to get bad grades if I ever got them... Razz

I don't think so. They just think I watch anime to much and read manga to much i should read other things. I do just I read manga more.
