Does your parents blame anime for your bad grades?

well...no, my parents don't blame it on anime. but then i've never really gotten very bad grades, so maybe they don't mind Smile

Okay, so like funny story.

Yes, I wasnt doing my best in school, mainly cause of I was lazy or that it is never ever challenging!!! Some teachers are stupid.

Soooooo my parents were blaming anime for my B- grades (azn parents...), and one day while watching Ikkitousen with my brother, my father came into the room angry yelling "ARE YOU WATCHING CARTOONS AGAIN?" At that moment he faced the screen and there was an ecchi moment... hahahahaha!

He quietly left my room and never talked about anime again. LoL

Dont know if this is a good thing, since anime is no longer brought up with my low grades. Or if it's a bad thing that my father thinks I'm into that hentai stuff. ^^;;;

I think my brother explained to him what was happening in the anime and that we werent into that stuff. lol. Not sure if he was persuaded.

On the other hand, my mother is very carefree. She doesn't relate anime for some of my bad grades. ^^; As long as I excel, she's fine with them.

too much of anime got my acedemic courses like english to be like a 70....
but then again without it i would just be a studyholic like the many others asians in school

lmao my parents get angry if i get bad marks but i don't think they don't "relate" to anime for my bad grades. They just think i'm not workign hard enough =S

my parents dont blame anime and manga for my bad grades...as much. well, I dont have really bad grades. but my mom points out (as she just did 5 min ago) how I lack sleep cuz I read/watch manga/anime at night.....whenever she passes by the room, she'll go"Ahhhhh, Mangaaaaa!" (even when I m watching anime...she doesnt know the diff) in the most accusing voice and then she'll gasp and over react....I'd turn around looking guilty and then turnback and go on about my own bussiness. She can tell that lack of sleep hinders my concentration on studie But I know where to draw the line and maintain my grades so its all good Smile

since im not going to school they have no say on my anime.. hahaha...

even before.. i don't let my grades slip enough to make my parents stick their noses in my business...

bad grades i never even show them my report cards cuz they just go crazy when they see a 85
so i can just watch anime carefreely

My parents (*cough*my dad*caugh* usually blames whatever I seem to spend more time on...like back in the day before I knew how to d/l anime and manga, it was simply blame tv,internet and game consoles for bad grades (not that my grades were...actually my grades were pretty good, not perfect, but well above average... and the fact that I'm not studious either)

Then when I discovered manga, parents start blaming that for not getting 100% on tests...same deal with anime, going out and parties etc.. 'you're *fill in blank with appropriate word/s* too much...nag nag blah blah' you get the idea
