Does your parents blame anime for your bad grades?

If my grades drop low my mom usually gets pissed but she doesn't blame anime she just blames that I spend too much time with friends and all that stuff <_<. But my dad is really cool cause doesnt even care. I find it hard to sit in front of the computer or the TV to watch anime for a long time especially if its nice weather outside so anime doesnt usually get in the way of my grades.

My parents don't blame anything for my grades because I consitently maintain very good grades (anything lower than an 80 is concidered to be off for me, with 85 and up being normal). If I did start to slip, they would likely not blame it on anime. Its more likely that they would blame my work-ethic, and make me study more. As long as I could fit anime in with studying, I'd still be able to watch it.

When I was younger I got great grades and was watching anime. Granted that was in the the hay days of anime like Evangelion and Robotech. But then I stoped watching for a few years and my grades were worse. Now I am going to Devry and watching Naruto and many many other series. Whats funny is my mom couldn't be happier I work full time and watch anime while holding a high B and A average. She has even started buying anime for me.

Best Buy hates me now. I'll buy a show and my mom will suprise me with the exact disc I just bought, so I have had many refunds. I think Best Buy thinks I steal now. Very Happy

congrats on getting Best Buy to hate you, wish i could see the sales' clerk face when u go in for ur 50th return on an dvd. im in high school and my parents nag nonstop about me doing what i am doing could be better spent w/ studying for college and stuff....i just want to watch a good anime or read a good manga.. p.s. anyone know where to find Chaosic Rune? i heard it was good

my mom just hates anime in general because she thinks theyre creepy
but my grades r fine and sometimes they slip but its not due to anime

in my case....my parents never blamed anime for my bad grades..

before i got addicted to watching anime..i already have bad grades!!

my parents will blame the anime in every specs.to me anime is just an entertainment and its part of my hobbies. Evil or Very Mad

i kind of bored when they keep babling about my interest in anime or manga.but do they think clearly????i don't think so. Twisted Evil

imagine that i never knew about anime. i could waste my time in shopping centre without doing nothing....

well anime has nothing to do with brain or attituve.if you want to have higher grades, you have to earn it by study.and the key of success is a good time management.... Very Happy
