yeah...a dumb "americanized" title.

Coudn't they stick to the TRUE translation of the Words? or maybe they thought that the title "Utawarerumono" not attractive...

and the English Translation (well...from [yesy] of course)"The one being sung" is waaay better than the soon coming English title...

talk about a cheezy title.. hahaha.. i hope it doesn't tarnish the series too much...

as usual i would prefer the original title...

and i hope they keep on subbing it... too far in the story to just cut it off... it won't be pleasant if it gets stopped...

So...They just HAD to ad somekinda mecha in to the seires. Oh well, at least they aren't dorky looking as they could be. The colouring for instance is nice; Not any bright color mixes that one should only see after smoking notable amounts of weed AND they don't shoot of beams of anykind a Major plus for that Wink

Hopefully this is only season one, because were already at episode 21 and Hakuoros past remains as mysterius as ever.
I Truly hope that they wont make some half assed two episode super speed ending...That would be a sad ending to a othervise excellent series :/

It's good so far, and considering the fuss about 'mecha'...I just want to think of it as a 'war machine'. To me, that doesn't take away the charm of more ancient civilization and culture in Utwarerumono.

The next thing one would wonder is whether Hakuoro and his harem as well as Tuskuru's army would be taking on those metal horrors or not...

interesting... only a few animes made me hate some characters with a passion.. Razz

those killing devices are an interesting insert to the series.. though i don't know how long they will go with it... looks impenetrable enough.. though im guessing that huge ass sword wielding girl can smash it up relatively easy i think...

but the preview seems to be erm sad... aruru is erm being held by hakuoro and sorta dead.. i hope it ain't that though... but in a way if she dies and hakuoro goes berzerk then that might move things in the series.. Very Happy

I'm wondering about the picture that's shown in the ED for this series. I think it indicates a lot about the story.

I've thought for a long while that the bird in the centre represents Kamyu (I mean, come on, it's got black wings and a pale blue head!) and now the mechas have turned up I'm thinking the two monster-y things represent them. I used to think the blue monster represented Hakouro, though... but then, who is the figure with the obscured face (that's kind of entwined with it) supposed to be? And what are those weird eye looking things at the bottom?

Anybody have any thoughts about this?

I believe 'The Reverred One' would be more accurate depictation of a female organism i mean title.

The medival thing they have going is really nice. Then they introduced mechs and next time travell followed by what looked like an alien which turned out to be a god. I'm waiting for an esp-er to show up next. Laughing

I've no idea how this show is going to end. The begining of the series seems to have almost no connection to the current story arc. Maybe it will make better sense in the coming episodes and tie everything together.

All in all, this is still a good show for me.

well imo the mecca and the scientist bit spoilt it, it jsut dosen't seem to suit. Well anyway this is my opnion, and hay, it may turn out well
